Me too; it just isn't for everyone, but it isn't overrated, and I was hooked from Episode 1 despite how slow it was. I liked it better than other hyped shows like CLOY and Hospital Playlist, which I felt were both overrated, but My Mister barely disappointed me at all, and it was wonderful to watch, even if it was slow and dragged at times. A splendid series overall.

I agree, as well. The show was fantastic and is a favourite of mine, but it also has its flaws. Some of the subplots could have been better. In terms of quality, it is a 9.5, but I added an extra 0.5 because I was left feeling emotionally impacted after finishing it.

Glad it did. I think the show was good and all, but definitely not the funniest kdrama I have ever seen and was pretty much forgettable overall. The ending was not it as well, lol.

I liked the show enough, but it wasn't as funny as many people said. Some moments made me laugh, but so much overshadowed the tone for me throughout the drama. Some characters were good enough, and the FL is probably one of my all-time favourite characters, but the drama wasn't that memorable for me. It's still good, though, and I would say it's worth the watch.

No, I get it; I also had a drama that greatly impacted me, mostly because of the people who played the characters. I didn't relate to any of the characters, yet Donghoon became one of my all-time favourite fictional characters. He was very much suited for the role and gave life to it. Otherwise, there wouldn't be that much impact if a different person played it. Lee was one of the few actors I felt were made for their roles, which can be rare in Kdramaland for me.

I understand. I didn't cry a lot while watching it for the first time, except for the one time Jian cried when Donghoon defended her; dont remember which episode, though. But rewatching it now will hit so much harder since he is not here. His character was compelling and realistic but also flawed, which wouldn't be brought to life without him. So sad.

I cried SO much; never have I ever for any other show on this website. I didn't really think of it as giving false hope, but I can kind of see why. To me, though, they were way much more than first loves and more like soulmates. So bittersweet.

No, I don't think the show would ever have a second season; very unlikely. I don't know if you were referring to the What Your First Love scene at the end, but that would not be to hint at a second season at all. I think it was there to conclude that Na Heedo was Baek Yijin's first love no matter what and to also rub salt in our wounds...

Hella underrated, but she's my favourite out of the five.

An okay drama overall. If the writing hadn't taken such a plunge in the second half, I would have reconsidered so much for my rating.

I greatly liked My Mister, but it's second to 2521. I think it's because of the more significant impact 2521 had on me, and I found it more relatable. It's nice to see someone liking both dramas a lot. What did you like about My Mister the most?

True, I have yet to watch other critically acclaimed ones like Mother (2018) and Stranger (2017), but I could talk about these two dramas forever. I wasn't a big fan of CLOY and R88, but they're still good.

My Mister and 2521 are my top 2 favourite dramas of all time. Too good, just too good.
