Yes. I just finished it and thought after all that that it was not worth the watch, personally. I guess people are really blown away by the intricate plot. But I only watch romances FOR THE ROMANCE.... and this romance was weird, skimped out on with lots of filler in between, and SANITIZED TO ALL HELL. One kiss scene in ep 38 (give or take an ep), where you dont even see them actually kiss. Then promptly after that, he dies. Great.

I found it to be hugely distracting as well.

Ep 1-24: Two people in a dark rainy forest trying to rub sticks together to start a fire and nothings happing.
Ep 25-31: Finally the sticks start to smoke, and gradually produce actual flame.
Ep 32-38: BURNT DOWN THE WHOLE DAMN FOREST. Woopsie!

Its open ended. I think the first half was kickass, and the sevond half dragged and had a less than satisfying end.

They have everything nearly resolved at that point znd then they throw a whole nother fresh wrench in the plot and its just not good timing for it, imo... it made me feel fatigued of the show. I agree with some other viewers that they could have started wrapping it up around ep 30, and instead of spending screentime dragging the viewer through another plot twist, just focused on giving each character really good resolutions... maybe shave off about 5 episodes of screentime. Again, just imo though.

Just an unresolved, bummer ending that makes it feel like you just watched all that for nothing.

Idk, i was really engrossed in it, and lost patience around ep 30-32. It started off so strong, but the back half imo just failed to deliver. Ending was weaksauce.
