You dropped before you had the chance to find out, that the "bad guy" isnt the son but the father. The son never killed anyone. He doesnt plead his innocence because he has a guilty conscience... he told himself that her car accident was just a coincidence because he doesnt want to have to admit to himself that his father killed his gf. But later when he is faced with proof that yes it was his father, he has a mental breakdown and kills his dad over it.

FL is a weak/strong combination. She is brave and proactive and tenacious, but also not as clever as some of her situations demand, and made into the naive party in many interactions, and is essentially a damsel in distress from MLs perspective. And what a damsel she is.... shes gorgeous and darling. NONE of that chinese baby flirting thing. Like zero percent.

I just finished Embrace In The Dark and absolutely loved it. Its in the trashy bodyguard badboy short-length category. If you just need more decent red-flag kiss scenes in your life, you could give it a whirl and see if you like it as much as I did.

Something fun while us binge watchers wait for Loves Rebellion to finish.

Depends on what you mean by "like this one". It kind of is like Undercover Affair. But imo, this one is better than UA.
