She suddenly loses confidence in the ML, after a whole bunch of other shit shes seen and been through should lead her to know better. She breaks up with him on the spot with such a lack of hesitation. Her breakup tantrum was so hideous. Then comes the "Im living just fine without you" prideful behavior. Im taking to the TV like "youre a dumb bitch I hope he never comes back to you".
The beginning of this drama, I thought FL was cute and interesting, but by the time the show had finished, I was completely disgusted with her character.

Richard Li's first dramas, The Crush and The Crush 2. Only problem is second half of The Crush 2 is like good luck finding eng subs. Excellent chemistry, almost no plot but not a bad story, considering it has virtually nothing to it. And insane chemistry and spicyness. Also no stockholming in the crush, unlike this one.

Theres no way for an outsider to know who was really at fault for that stuff. Could have been her, could have been him, could have been both of them.
I remember how my bf with BPD used to make plans to do things in public (like a performance [he was in entertainment], a dinner with clients, thanksgiving with family, drinks with friends, etc), and about 2 hours before we were set to leave, he would become verbally abusive and cruel, and make me cry and get angry. And then he would yell at me about how no matter what we had to put on a good front in front of others so I better get my shit together and pretend I was fine so we could go out or else I was ruining his business prospects and his relationships with friends and clients.
He did it, maybe not consciously on purpose, but it WAS deliberate on some freudian level of his psyche. Because he only ever got that mean to me right before we had to do something important or public.
I dont mean to project my experiences onto a stranger I dont know... only saying that even tho it looks like shes the imbalanced one and the petty one........ i could just as easily see it going the other way where she could have been driven to feeling and acting that way.
The only people who know what really went down are the two of them. I guess it is safe to say though, that whatever happened, they don't bring out the best in eachother.

2FL is sweet and innocent and gorgeous, and she has a HOT boyfriend in the army who is about to propose to her. Literally less than 48 hours before he can propose, she is tapped by the fat old mean disgusting evil emperor to be a palace seamstress so he can have sex with her, and her father gives her away without a fight.
2FL is then r*ped , and the scenes involving this are extremely uncomfortable to watch.
It gets worse, because 2FL gets pregnant with the emperor's r*pe baby. Her army BF is distraught af, and tries to save her but fails. So as punishment, the emperor forces the BF to become 2FL's servant just to rub his face in shit and torture him further.
And then it gets even worser, because 2FL carries the r*pe baby to 3rd trimester, and then has a dangerous labor, and FL has to cut 2FLs baby out of her belly with a knife. Thats fucking GROSS. And then 2FL dies in FL's arms. Leaving her army BF a haunted ruined crazy man.
All of this shit involves a lot of screaming and crying of course. They really draw it out for maximum drama.
I was like 'oh im sorry, I was under the mistaken impression this was a ROMANCE story.' And I noped out. I'm sorry, Richard Li is fine as a mo'fo, but no amount of hot Richard Li kiss scenes can counterbalance the total horribleness of all the other stuff going on up in this show.
