Now now, and how do you know that those comments are from Zhao Lusi fans? You’re so sure about it, but there’s…
It's like we are talking about fruit and you are talking about vegetables. I do understand what you mean to say but you are talking about something totally different. I said that some individuals on this post make the fandom look bad.
Look if you truly wanna talk about vegetables, sure. Zhao Lusi gets a lot of hate but not on kisskh, here she gets more love and appreciation. She's top one actress in China and even international fans love her. It's only fair. She has skills to support it.
Esther's international fans are very peaceful as Esther herself promotes self love, girls supporting girls and many times she has given up a role if she thought it suited someone else, however her Chinese fans really cross a line and are too obsessive and can do crazy things. Is that what you want to hear?
There, none is perfect. There we spoke about the vegetables. A site I never mentioned, a topic I never touched upon but sure. I gave it to you because you want to talk about that.
That still doesn't erase the fact that so many people who defended Zhao Lusi's drama here on this article had to slander Esther with ill words. Which is why I said "Do better as people" and stop making a fandom look bad. Leave that toxic stuff to Weibo. I'd say the same thing If I saw Esther's fan say horrible words to Lusi on this article but I havent for now.
Also please stop replying to this. Trust me it's not going anywhere. I've seen you spam everyone's comments and I want to rest now. You literally bashed a girl who said not a single insulting thing to Lusi and who just stated her opinion and called her ignorant. Girl you need a better hobby. Try painting or maybe dancing? One day you'll be in your late 20's regretting you spent your life getting angry over an internet comment. See you on a new drama <3
Now now, and how do you know that those comments are from Zhao Lusi fans? You’re so sure about it, but there’s…
Yet despite being angry at the person who posted this article, they mocked Esther.
I am a fan of Zhao Lusi, I watch all of her shows support her. I'm not obsessed with every second of her life.
"Criticizing someone’s acting isn’t the same as wishing someone’s dea*th."
Darling, darling, darling, take this as an advice but celebrities have killed themselves over criticism.
Saying, she's horrrible, I fkin hate seeing her on screen isn't the same as wishing someone death? Trust me, it can result in the same thing.
The proper way to criticize is constructive criticism.
Also I didn't forget you called Esther's fandom FILTHY. You put every fan in the same basket. I don't like people who put everyone in the same basket. It's like blaming a whole population for one person doing a crime.
Also I'm not trying to fight you. I just don't see a point of ppl getting angry that for once Zhao Lusi isn't first even if it's a lie. She's the best actress in China. I find it rather silly to be angry over.
Now now, and how do you know that those comments are from Zhao Lusi fans? You’re so sure about it, but there’s…
I agree. I know how bad they can be but this is My Drama List. You'd expect people would be more objective here and maybe have a more healthy approach of being a fan but seems like toxicity carries even here. And I'm not pointing fingers, I'm pointing out comments I've scrolled for 10 minutes.
Now now, and how do you know that those comments are from Zhao Lusi fans? You’re so sure about it, but there’s…
I wish sometimes people just said "Wow good for Esther, she has one first place, girls supporting girls."
I'd say the same thing if the other one was first.
But no, people will flip like it is the end of the world that it happened. Whether Zhao Lusi is on top or Esther, I don't really care because it's just a score on a stupid site but the fact that they call this a rage bait isn't the fault of the person who posted but all of these people who take such a silly thing to heart. They post insults to Esther because she is once on top over Zhao Lusi like???? Why does it matter, Zhao Lusi is still one of the best actresses, how does that affect HER or YOUR life? It's honestly embarrassing to see such thinking. The post isn't the problem, it's the people reacting and acting like it's a rage bait but it's them not being able to control themselves and insulting actresses.
Now now, and how do you know that those comments are from Zhao Lusi fans? You’re so sure about it, but there’s…
Because they openly say they like Zhao Lusi? If they aren't fans, what are they. I am sure about it because I've read the comments.
I don't care about the tsopg because I talked about the comments under THIS ARTICLE.
And again you keep saying "there's no filthier fandom than esther's" where you literally show you fall into the same group of toxic people who cannot share a comment without using an insult.
I said, some individuals and their fandoms truly shine which means that those individuals make the fandom on kisskh seem really bad. I don't care about you, nor weibo fans nor twitter fans. I just pointed out how these individuals on this post portray Zhao Lusi's fandom in a really bad way. Scroll yourself and you'll see, I don't have to tell you more. Not that her WHOLE fandom IS bad, because I'm in her fandom too lol.
I've pointed out what I've seen here and instead of telling me things, take my advice and tell them them not to speak about Esther in that way but you won't because you yourself called her fandom filthy.
I'd protect Zhao Lusi any time. But that has nothing to do with whose fandom is better. It has to do with being a healthy human being who can communicate without throwing nasty words.
The story of this show left me with a sense of dissatisfaction, not due to the storyline itself, but rather its execution. The most glaring issue lies in the portrayal of the female protagonist’s relationships. Throughout the series, it seems like she was only ever honest with XL, revealing her flaws and vulnerabilities in a way that she never does with the man she ultimately ends up with.
The climax of the series, marked by XL’s death, is particularly problematic. The female protagonist’s reaction to his death is disturbingly distasteful. After barely having screen time in the second season, the show ends with a big, dramatic death, that feels like a disservice to his character and the audience. The pacing of the drama, the uneven development of characters, and the inconsistent screen time feels poorly constructed.
I loved characters I didn't expect to love and disliked those that were written to be loved. Instead of supporting the female character I often found myself angry at her choices and words. Often times they'd be consistent but then have a change of character, making it hard to become attached to them.
Objectively, it is a refreshing story, but with many flaws.
I wish people were patient for Orchid. Her only sin was loving an enemy and she still put him, his burden and his own people before anyone else. Please be patient for her growth <3
Where I can watch the anime? I try to watch this twice but I cant stand the FL, the voice, the lips moving forward…
At the start she is a baby fairy without parents or friends. Later on she grows to become a mature woman, using her mature voice. The tv show is mostly about growth. She grows more mature and he grows into a loving man.
I have been putting off this drama quite a while because the ML is super good looking and the FL is well.. lacking…
At the start of the show she is a baby fairy with no friends. As the story progresses she changes into a mature fairy and her voice changes to a more mature voice and by the end she grows into a beautiful mature lady. If you can be patient I'm sure you will love her.
Also Dylan Wang acting was amazing but it was supported by the amazing voice actor by the name of Wang Baoshun who did 50% work while Esther Yu voiced her character herself according to the story.
I tried to watched twice but dropped twice because of FL. Some people found her immature annoying like moving…
Don't worry, she only talks like that at the start because she is a baby fairy, she grows and her voice changes along the way and becomes much more serious. If you can be patient, I'm sure you'll love it. She also has a show called Journey to You where she speaks with her normal voice and is a love partner with the second lead of this tv show. Good luck!
I did a lot of skipping on the drama. They were just too many annoying events in it. Also I'm into more of strong…
I don't plan on changing your mind, I just wanted to give you a clear insight in things you did not understand. You were incorrect with the "love interest that drags on" because it ended at like episode 8. You are probably either very young or not very good at reading face expressions that gave away so many things early on in the show but everyone has their opinion and that's fine. And I disagree that the drama has high rating due to Dylan Wang and I think it is quite rude of you to ignore the efforts of the whole cast and especially Dylan's Wang voice actor who did 50% of the job that everyone seems to ignore. But don't worry, I am not here to force you to change your opinion. I just wanted to correct the things you did not understand in the show. I hope you find something more enjoyable to watch.
I read this manhua and the first 90 chapters are amazing then it turns into one of the dirtiest manhua's I've ever read and dropped it. Characters just changed suddenly and it became a smut. Not a fan! Since the screenwriter is the same as in Love Between Fairy and Devil I'm sure they will do a proper job and make it lovely and innocent.
I did a lot of skipping on the drama. They were just too many annoying events in it. Also I'm into more of strong…
Orchid kissed Dongfang before yet in episode 8 she kisses him and then gets all awkward after the kiss which is basically indicating she likes him. Read body language. Then in episode 13 she literally KISSES him to save him even though she could've killed Dongfang with Changheng but decided not to. It is so obvious she did it because she has feelings for Dongfang. And of course she talks about Changeng and wants to save him is because HE is still a friend people. Why do you think it's okay to be okay with her friend dying and because of that he still must be a love interest? Dongfang wants to kill him at every moment lol
Her love interest towards Changheng ended on episode 13 when she kisses Dongfang and says "Could it be.... (she thinks she feels something for him) then goes, No way, he's Moon Supreme" , she doubts herself because he's an enemy of her people, common sense.
and Orchid grows into a beautiful and mature woman who understands her man's sacrifice later in the story and talks with a normal voice because before she was a sheltered baby fairy, living alone with no real friends or parent figure. It's not a waste of time. The story is more realistic because they are both empty shells at first and then they both grow mentally if you are patient. If you don't like it you don't like it , it's understandable but sadly so many things went over you head it's a shame.
This is how I'm feeling right now... I've watched 7 episodes already, but I still can't seem to engage with the…
In ep 8, she's already moved on from God of War. The only reason she yapps about him is because she is HIS friend and he is the reason she was even born which she often states and Dongfang wants to kill him so of course she will protect him. It's not even love. Mutual love starts very early you just couldn't read it on her face. The moment she's crying and he comforts her she goes "If you keep talking like that I might start believing you" and when he kisses her under water and she feels awkward despite not feeling it kissing him before, she already feels something else for him which is why she saves him soon after. This drama has a lot more moments you need to be able to read into their words and facial expressions to understand, it doesn't really spell it out for you. Also the meaning behind him kneeling down when she cries to wipe her tears despite being Moon Supreme, a man who doesn't bow to anyone, is a huge detail as well and it happens so early too so please don't mislead new viewers over things you couldn't comprehend!
She grows and helps him overcome his hatred towards his father, fixes things with his immature brother, and helps him find friends he never had.
And she, who never had parents is loved unconditionally, protected and cherished. She learns to understand war and the struggles of his people and chooses not to hate him for his choice.
It's such a beautiful portrayal of love that it sometimes makes me sad people cannot see more than that but what can you do, we are all different. The love starts way earlier than most dramas and the drama starts getting better at episode 9. Hope that helps clear the things you misunderstood.
lolthere was no way you should have expected a happy endingin a power struggle drama where female lead comes from…
I disagree with both of you. I have seen so many fantasy dramas where they will do the impossible just to have a happy ending and keep the fans happy and I am genuinely tired of bending the plot so some fans can feel satisfaction.
This tv show is trying to also show some realism. "She didn't even try" ," The male lead didn't even try." The male lead tried many times and asked her to run away with him earlier and she, as the time went on understood that palace isn't a place to play around and that it isn't that easy. And one must understand that after seeing her best friend die by her lover's hands, seeing the other prince and his wife die in front of her own eyes, one loses hope to live and she, realistically loses her spark. Not everything is about " love wins all" because love doesn't always win on its own. There needs to be mutual respect, trust, communication and based on the events they went through it is only understandable they lack so much. I feel like many miss that point just because of their preference of dramas that don't even try to be realistic with their characterization. Both characters grew according to the external factors. As much as I hated the male lead towards the end, it just proved us what power does to you. The show was never only about love but as the tags say
Goryeo Dynasty, Rivalry, Smart Male Lead, Love/Hate Relationship
Also I am not trying to fight but I truly believe people need to see past a happy ending and try to understand it from a critical standpoint and as a human. And when this came out, tragedies weren't that popular with kdramas which is why it left such a huge impact. Only lately I believe.
