WOW! That video is dope! The sound effects plus Lan Zhan protecting mode together made this so good

The fact that he pretty much acted with his eyes just alone! The sheer amount of work that goes behind that like damn! I can think of so many scene in just one second where he portrayed Lan Zhan perfectly. For example, his face when Wei Ying let go and fell off the cliff, the scene where he finds about the golden core and one of the most epic scene of him when he said, "you're not qualified to talk to me". I can go on and on and on! I wonder what would've happened if Yang Xia never saw Wang Yibo walking into the room!

Since @Syd and @WangXian wanted me to update on how my best friend @Meangirl is doing with CQL. She has officially finished watching it and now has fallen down the rabbit hole. She was going left and right with the symbolism and foreshadowing and character development. Then she tells me she's feeling empty after finishing it. It sounds bad but I'm so proud of myself ^_^

Yeah I get what you mean. Right now is not the greatest time for these to get released. It looks like they're aware of being filmed but I'm not sure if they're ok with these getting published at this moment. I understand they get deleted right away but if some people with malicious thought gets their hands on these, there will be so much backlash.

Exactly!! Because some of these conversation can be easily seen as something it might not be and that's what's worrying me. I mean as fans we watch them and we're happy when they're happy. I'm one of the fans who would be happy with both situations where they're together or just friends. But so many shippers tend to get carried away over every single thing! It's insane! And now that Xiao Zhan is slowly starting to come back, I'm scared these bts might harm him.

See that's what I was thinking too being this the page of solo fan. I was thinking how the way these bts were shot, it doesn't look like they were done in secret. In fact the quality isn't so bad, so I don't think they were filmed with any random phone (atleast some of them). It also looks like they're aware of being filmed and they were comfortable with it. I just think these bts should not be released at a time when it's very inconvenient for them. I personally enjoy these because I get to see their interaction and how they genuinely had fun in the set. But now it's just too many one after another.

I came back to say that if not my favorite but memorable chapter for me would be confession chapter. It's the chapter we find out LWJ did for WWX and his unconditional love for WWXX. Lan Zhan's love for Wei Ying is so pure and out of this world. His love was truly unconditional from the beginning.

Honestly whenever I feel down, I just need to watch these bts and I'll be laughing in no time!

The interesting parts come later in the drama so if you can, please keep on watching it. From what I've seen majority of people who loves this drama didn't love this drama right from ep 1, including me. Once you finish watching it, you might understand why this drama is loved by so many people. Try to watch atleast until episode 16 because that's when some fans started to get invested including me. In fact, my best friend who dropped this after 3 episodes, I'm rewatching it with her and she is finally getting interested after episode 20. It just takes patience that's all ^_^

Omg! Same here! It’s nighttime here whenever they come out so once I get notification of someone sending or those really quick fan page posting something, I wake up and I watch them and then I look at the translation. Forget about sleeping. It’s as if my sleep schedule figured out by itself when I should wake up to watch them!
Seriously though how did the other cast member and staff handle these two! Wither their inside jokes, constant bickering and hitting each other and laughing ...I can’t with these two XD

Do let me know if there are any other fan fiction like that. Until then I'm gonna add this to the list of rereading :)

Honestly for me, all of them! But if I have to say one from top of my head at the moment, I think it's chapter 31, when we see drunk Lan Zhan ^_^ But seriously it's hard to pick.

WOW I think it's my favorite as well! Out all of them, that one hit the spot with everything! From the dialogue to the story line! I can imagine Lan Zhan and WWX and Sizhui and Jinyi doing and saying the exact things to the core perfectly! LOVE IT!

OMGI started reading the jealousy one in the morning and I was almost late to work! How can a fan fiction be this good?! And omg I was bawling my eyes out in that last chapter! Lan Sizhui and Lan Jingyi's reaction...I can't XD!

So call me crazy but along with watching the special edition on the side, I was trying to make my best friend watch it. She did and gave up after 2 episodes. Of course being me I said "hell no. I'm going to emotionally support you and watch it with you while staying on the phone with you". We just finished episode 4 and she said "ok not bad" SO YES WERE IMPROVING! I promised her we'll watch 2 episodes a day so she doesn't get overwhelmed my craziness ^_^

BUT WOW THE first 2 episodes! WOW! Did the CQL makers think we would forget everything we saw in episode 1 and 2 by the time we reached episode 33?? Because they were soooo right! The answer was right there!! The mystery man's sleeves and his fan! The absolute genius of it and the answer was right there under our nose and we all missed it. We were all played by the makers!
Not to mention the way WWX said LWJ's name and his expression and how he thought back to the first day he saw LWJ and he started playing 'Wuji'....OMG my heart cannot handle this! Too much emotion!

Then the way JC walked in when WWX froze Jin Ling in the ground with his paperman...that badass swagger that made me think he's the evil guy the first time I watched it and I couldn't have been more wrong! I'm watching that same scene and I'm like damn JC look at you...my precious puppy with so much swagger. I CANNOT WITH THIS DRAMA!

Uh can I get those fanfics? I haven't started reading any yet...
