I've only the read the first few chapters of HOB but I will let you know once I'm further into it. I'm not confused with the names as much as I thought I would be. Wow Husky tops your list? Then I'm definitely reading that after I'm done with HOB. The production for Husky, do you think they'll do justice the way they did with CQL? Knowing it's already made is already making me eager to read it. I know the filming for Sha Po Land is already done and as for HOB, they're still in pre production stage or something like that.
OMG! Major fangirling here right now because I did notice moon illuminating their meetings but not the meaning for 'The Moon Represents My Heart'. The scene you mentioned and also after WWX transferred the curse to himself from Jin Ling and he saw Lan Zhan waiting for him, moon was there present as well. Also the scene in Jingshi where WWX wanted to thank Lan Zhan. I have to go back and check where else they showed moon as the symbolism for them...OMG I'm dying here....

Some of the art works are truly beautiful. These artists are so talented. Each have their own version but the way they can still capture the characters essence is truly amazing! I will never able to erase Wangxian from my heart. For me Wangxian will forever stay as the superior couple from any books or dramas ^_^ I started Heaven's Official for now. Eventually I'll get to The Husky and his White Cat, Sha Po Lang. There's another one I can't seem to remember the name of but I know one of the main character is deaf and blind as well. I think I mentioned it some time ago about Lan Zhan's love for Wei Ying in here! Lan Zhan's love for Wei Ying is so pure and out of this world. His love was truly unconditional from the beginning. (ಥ﹏ಥ) Lan Zhan loves Wei Ying through life and death, no matter the consequences! Even though he probably thought he was getting teased by WeiYing about his feeling, the way he still stood by him, loved him silently without expecting anything in return. He wasn't even expecting We Ying to return his feelings and yet he loved him so much with no expectation! That's why the part where Lan Xichen tells Wei Ying about what Lan Zhan did in Nightless city and he received those 33 whips, always gets to me every single time without fail. And not to mention the confession scene...sigh...when he cried after Wei Ying's confession. Brb I'm gonna go read it and listen to it again ಥ_ಥ

Wow that video you posted also consists of a zither player and a flute player. Just like WWX and LWJ. Or more like it's vice versa. I was wondering was influenced MXTX by that drama? Or do dramas usually have a pair of cultivator who plays those instruments together?
Of course everyone is entitled to their opinion but I will not never understand people who is not impressed by anything that is related to CQL. Thankfully the number of them is very small compare to the people who appreciates everything CQL has to offer :)

Another thing CQL made me appreciate me more is the usage of flute. I never gave much thought to the process of playing flute or how it works. But CQL was able to change that. I didn't realize there are different types of flutes to produce different tunes. The techniques are different as well with the way breathing work as you mentioned. I can say I was ignorant. The feelings that was captured by every single one of the instrumental music in this drama is just so magical. I can't come up with any words to explain how the music makes me feel. To be honest I never paid attention to Zither either. Such an underrated instrument or maybe I just didn't pay enough attention to it.

The part where she is playing out of tune reminded me of the scene when WWX played terribly in front of Lan Qiren so he wouldn't recognize him and because of how terrible it was, he woke up to tell him to stop playing...that was hilarious XD I'm curious though. So she didn't play out of tune on purpose, it was the flute that made it sound like that? Because for the second part she used a different flute.

When I clicked on the link, I actually expected a cover of Wuji but when she started playing it, I was taken back because it sounded exactly like Wuji that was played in the drama. It took me a while to realize that she's the original artist lol. I became so used to seeing WWX with his flute, so mentally any time I hear any flute music or any CQL ost, I associate them with WWX.
Appreciation post to showoff WYB and XZ chemistry. That scene will be one of the best scene I've ever laid my eyes on. From the scenery to the beautiful rain to the symbolism to the character development to their chemistry to their expression! Everything is just so beautiful god damn it!
Honestly they have such a great and beautiful (tbh those two words don't justify it) chemistry and that made this drama even better! Did they turn a blind eyes for some reason?" Because it is so obvious what they are and how they feel about each other right from the first episode. I'm still left puzzled on how they were able to achieve this when they included romantic scene that wasn't even in the novel. HOW?!
