The synopsis doesn't make it sound interesting at all, but your review is very convincing!
Oh, you've taken an interest in this? I'm glad to hear that~ I think you'll enjoy as our tastes have matched up in the past. You know, the synposis sounds like a brief overview of the first episode more than anything. When I came into the series I expected a common hospital drama but got something so much more. Maybe I ought to write a different one for it when time permits :o
This is an interesting concept~ I think this happens to everyone to some degree. What one person finds good and bad must always be subjective, but there are always those dramas we know are kind of ew but love anyway. I'm not sure which that might be for me, but I must say that you have great taste; I've had a terrible crush on Ichihara Hayato since Rookies. XD
Did anybody notice that in episode two at about 17:07, they were censoring his lower part of his body like he…
*Laughs.* Yeah, I did~ I was watching this with a friend and she's laughing about the peach censorship? And I'm just like "weren't those red boxers?!" This show is really quirky, but fun.
I truly loved this review, but I'm afraid I'll never have enough courage to watch the movie. There are issues…
Oh, I didn't see this comment until recently~ Thank you for reading as always. It's understandable; there are several themes I can't stomach either, no matter how well the movie is made.
Ah, I love historicals! Of these, I've only seen Empress Ki. But there are so many excellent sageuks, as well as taiga. I hope many users will see this and find an interest in these pieces. It only takes one good experience to open one up to a whole new world as they say~
Thank you for an excellent article! Though I'm a little pouty you make it so appealing; I wanted to wait longer for more episodes to come out, and now I feel like hurrying to watch this XD
Oh, you make this series sound very appealing Rita :o Sometimes it's nice to just let go of plot and let the characters sail away with it all. After it ended there were lots of conflicting opinions on K-Fated To Love You, but I might just give it a try after all. Thanks for another great review as always~
I have problems finding his works online. Only saw Like Father Like Son in shop. If you have the online links…
Unfortunately I'm not good about finding this sort of thing. Perhaps other users may be of more help? But they are available on sites such as Netflix and Hulu, as well as for sale.
"Nobody knows" is truly truly heartbreaking. Cried my freaking eyes out. And I see I've put " Wish"…
Same here. The true story is even more heart-breaking, I'm afraid. ;-; I'm glad that you have a plan for further movies in this talented director's repertoire; hopefully you'll become a fan too! What you say about the Koreeda style is very true. I've always felt some magical quality about his work.
I love this movie and it further made me appreciate the acting skills of Yang Ik Joon. He blew me away in his…
That is very kind of you to say, thank you~ I'm glad you felt my review did this wonderful movie justice, because I feel just the same. It's just one of those must-see types, plus Yang Ik Joon definitely has a talented to be admired.
I'm so glad to hear that he's working on something new even though I still haven't even seen all of his released…
Nobody Knows seems to be many people's first, which is excellent; it numbers among his best films. But there is just something about his storytelling which makes it relatable to a wide audience though it might remain faithfully Japanese in execution. I am glad you've been inspired by this talented artist, and hope your experience with the rest of his work continues that trend. It'd be great to hear what you focused on in terms of your paper too :o
