Right now I'm working at Ooku: Arikoto Iemitsu Hen. My next will either be Triangle or Legal High, though it depends on my mood, haha.

I have to agree about Yushin for Uhm Tae Woong, though admittedly his role in Knife and Flower won me as well. Liking Bi Dam as well must have been really hard, wow. Constant emotional onslaught from all angles, haha.
Ah, when I'm sick or tired I tend to turn toward movies as well. It's like my brain can't handle more than a few hours of one story, haha. I hope you feel better soon! We can't have you staying a zombie for too long.

I must say it's wonderful of you to be such a fantastic friend. Many people might not have been able to provide such support in the same situation.
How interesting the writers are held in common. At times, honestly, I felt that "Mother" would be a good title for "Woman." It seems like motherhood is a real focus in many directions.
Really like the dramas I'm working through at the moment. Balancing Ooku and The Devil is a little hard though, since they're both quite enjoyable so far.

You must have many stories to tell about the process. In college (undergraduate, and some time after), I took on auditions for stage productions, and it was quite the experience. It must be rather interesting from the other side too.
Thank you for sharing information about your next project. It sounds like a very heavy piece for an actress to tackle. Hopefully London will indeed yield what you're looking for. After some weeks spent there drinking up the live performance scene, I must agree you do have a much wider pool. Have you utilized actors chosen from overseas selection before? And for that matter, if I may ask, have you ever been unable to find a performer that's "just right" right until the end?
I must say that I love hearing your perspective as well. I'm usually very skeptical of reviews, so I rarely click them, but my policy on friend recommendations is similar to yours. :)

Ah, I finally started The Devil! Only four episodes in and I already find it riveting; how did it ever take me this long to start? It even has me looking up tarot card meanings....

You're welcome. Honestly, I'm flattered to receive the request.
Thank you for your thoughts on Garasu no Ie. While I did read the synopsis, it's always heartening to hear something is enjoyable. So many premises fizzle.
It also interested me that you've completed so several longer dramas; of the ones you've liked, which would you recommend?

Ah, I'm sorry to hear about your friend. That must be a frightening experience, and an uncanny one for you while you watch. Hopefully she and her children will see improvement soon.
If you like, tell me your thoughts as you watch. I wasn't aware Woman came from the same writers as Mother; they seem to enjoy writing about strong women which is great.

Expressive eyes are a huge reason I fall for actors and actresses, so I must agree. Not even the most impassioned delivery can beat actually seeing emotion manifest in the eyes. Though I never did really understand how performers can manipulate that sort of expression; it's really fascinating. Hyun Bin really does have a great example, though my only encounter with him is Secret Garden. His crying scenes are wonderful too.
Hanazawa-san is an amazing character. I have no doubt you'd enjoy him. The way Sakai Masato says those words actually got my heart pounding at times.
Why not try Feast of the Gods? My tastes appear to erratic at times (though I like to pretend they're solid). Also, Joo Sang Wook serves as one of the leads. Though his Jae Ha isn't the best, this actor totally latched onto my heart and stole it. And kind of snuck into my icons, but that's a different story, haha.

It seems as though we alternate dramas in the same way! One really notable example of this phenomena with me would be in completing Dating Agency Cyrano directly after melodrama Five Fingers. Though it was a really sweet little dalliance, I wonder whether it would have been as enjoyable between other similar shows.
How do you feel about The World That They Live In? I don't hear much about it, despite the famous leads.
I know right? What's worse is when a drama has been subtitled and available before, but has since slipped off the face of the earth. It's so disappointing to come so close and then nothing.

Definitely! It will probably be between Tonbi and TQC after I complete Ooku. I got a little distracted with Soratobu Taiya over the weekend, else I might have already finished it, haha.
When I looked more into Kaseifu no Mita again, it seems to have hit over 40% ratings when it aired. That's something I did not know, haha. It must have been popular indeed, no?
Were you able to start Woman after all? :o

Wow, that sounds fascinating. I love characters that draw the eye, even if they're of dubious morality. Maybe it's time for me to actually push that up on my priority list, but there's just so much to watch lately.
I agree totally! It would be surprising if Sakai-san didn't win *something* after all this. Between Legal High and Joker, which of his works would you recommend more? Right now I'm watching him in Ooku, and it's surprising how much the role suits him.

Hm, it seems I'll need to look into them more. Because there's somewhat of a lull in Korean shows I'm immediately interested in, I'm currently trying to catch up with the Japanese.

Ah, actually this would be our first exchange. I usually send or accept friend requests before striking things up, so I'm sorry if it caused any inconvenience. It's nice to meet you as well!
I really loved Queen Seon Duk, and somehow got really attached to Uhm Tae Woong instead of Kim Nam Gil like many do, haha. I noticed you enjoy Jung Kyung Ho; he was just great in the recent Cruel City. :)
Um, not much is up here honestly. I'm selecting a new Korean drama soon, though I'm not sure which to pick up. And you?

The Chaser has been recommended to me and sounds riveting, though it's somewhat difficult to imagine Hyun Joo as a protagonist. What kind of villain would you compare the Kim Sang Joon character with?
I agree that specials would be best, though it depends on how a sequel was handled. Because the story originates from novels, there may not be much more base material to work with. Can I just mention I love that you like Sakai Masato? The first time I encountered him, he was stealing scenes from Kimura Takuya in Nankyoku Tairiku, haha. He really deserves fans.

Thank you so much! It gives me extra push to complete it since someone is already interested in my thoughts, haha.
I think I'll follow your advice and try the Japanese version first. After all, it's been far too long since the last time I saw Amami Yuki. For me, it always interests me whether adaptations exist; some countries seem to be better equipped to tell certain stories if that makes sense. Queen's Classroom feels very Japanese right from the summary.
I have actually never seen Kaseifu no Mita. It was one I took interest in while it aired, but ended up watching other things first. From what I heard, it was quite good -- but Suspicious Housekeeper seems to be getting the same treatment at the moment.

Oh wow :o I'm sure you've seen them on the front page, but this site allows users to submit Stalker's Guides on actors and actresses. Why not contact the person in charge and work on one for Go Soo? You could really spread awareness about his projects. :)
