Thanks for the recommendation; I really enjoyed reading your passionate review for Lovers. Whenever someone is truly excited about something like that, I can tell it's great. Definitely will have to pick it up sometime. The lead won me over the minute I saw the word "dimples" though, haha.
I'm also giggling a little because I've just experienced Kim Nam Gil as the lead in Shark. It'll feel so strange seeing him in more of a supporting capacity~

I have yet to see "Smile, You" but feel like it's a necessity. It sounds like Jung Kyung Ho is just as talented as I garnered! And oh gosh, thank you for saying that about Hyung Min; I thought I was the only person on earth oogling him. Whenever he wore his holsters I thought I'd die. :,)
I'm a little in between dramas, though I'm watching Good Life (slowly) and Love Around (as airs). My preference tends to lean toward historicals or more "adult" stories (dark tone, mature plot lines, tragic feel, etc). I do like a romantic comedy now and again though, I won't lie.
So many actors from Ryomaden are participating in the Rurouni Kenshin films! I'm excited to see Iseya take up the role of Aoshi; he'll be wonderful, as Sato is as Kenshin.

I do watch Japanese, but tend to wait until they are completely subbed just in case I need them. It's a good way to keep the language fresh since there aren't many speakers around where I live~ I also rather enjoy Taiwanese romances; they can be light-hearted fun.

It's lucky so many promising ones are starting next week then! I typically don't have the attention span to follow multiple as they air though, so choosing one is going to be a pain.
I feel the sad ending was suitable, since the myth of Orpheus/Eurydice served as the drama's other heavily evoked metaphor. When Yi Soo dared *look back* at his former life, he began to make mistakes. Like Orpheus, he ultimately failed and his efforts came to nothing. You could see it as a warning too, like that old saying, "He who seeks vengeance must dig two graves: one for his enemy and one for himself." All Yi Soo did was uncover hurtful truths and make everyone mourn for him a second time. Innocent people were hurt almost as much as the villains. All this for an *old* man whose reputation could have been destroyed in the eyes of history *safely* after he died. I must agree that the other characters could have been given a stronger conclusion though. It's fine to make Yi Soo ambiguous, but the rest...not so much.
Ah, great job! What's going on with Soo Hyun is tearing me up right now. I did really love how they pulled the Orpheus imagery back in this episode though; the final moments were chilling.
It was so fun to work with you too! Only one episode left to go. It'll be a little emotional, ending both the series and the recapping....

Ah, wasn't it good? I'm currently looking forward to Ha Kyun's most recent film, Running Man, to be subtitled. It's such a different project for him so it looks like a lot of fun~

Thanks so much for accepting my request! I've seen you things so often, especially Shark, so it appears we have similar taste~
So, am I really the only one who couldn't care less? Mind you, I love the article, it's well written and provides…
This is exactly how I feel; chemistry is the most important element, above age or even looks. I have to agree it's a fun article though~ It lets us find out personal preferences such as this.
I feel sorry that Jung Kyung Ho had to finish filming the final episodes with such a nasty back injury. He's an incredibly dedicated actor to push on despite the pain. Rooting for him and his fantastic work on Cruel City twice as much now.
Big Blow!! For a relationship of friendship for so many years! And you have no clue what Soo Hyun is thinking!!…
The last two episodes should be absolutely crazy this week. I'm looking forward to them so much, though it means there won't be much recapping left to do.
