I usually try to limit myself with airing dramas, but I'm experimenting this season to see if I can handle them. So far, so good. The wait is completely agonizing though. XD
As far as genres go, I think I tend to like revenge, historical, or medical the best. I'm a sucker for complicated stories.

Hello and thanks for accepting my request! I'm glad to hear you have interest in those titles. Those two films in particular are worth seeing, but bring tissues. ;) Lots of crying to be done in your homework, haha.

I'm sure it was probably quite a different experience! His characters tend to be that hard on the outside, soft on the inside type. I've always felt he had a good hand for comedy though! I'll have to get around to Bad Family soon :)

I still need to see I Hear Your Voice myself. :) As far as Who Are You and Master's Sun, I haven't gotten around to them. I must say the ghost aspect seems interesting though.

Thanks so much for the request! Great to meet you. It seems like you're delving into many of the currently airing dramas. Which of them are you liking best so far?

Hello! No problem, it's my pleasure. Um, as far as what I'm watching.... Kekkon Shinai is a very pleasant, easy experience. I'm also really enjoying Good Doctor, but I'm trying to make an effort to watch more Japanese lately. How about you? :)

Hello again~ Ah, you started Hanzawa Naoki? It looked interesting but I wasn't 100% sure about it... How is it treating you? :)

SMAP is still together and going strong. They're sort of a Japanese institution now; in fact, I think they even have a store directly devoted to their merchandising that's pretty popular. I often get attached to songs I hear in dramas, but I'm the same way. Unless it's Japanese, I can't really get drawn to it as much as I'd like. And oh, I loved all of the music from Cruel City! I was just listening to "Everyday" a little while ago. :)
Thank you so much for the help finding that by the way. It was quite elusive actually.
Good work as always. I'm still not sure how I feel about Two Weeks; it's my style and I love Lee Jun Ki, but something is just missing.... That being said, I'll probably stick with it and keep checking your recaps~
Great job! I'm so glad you're recapping this drama! This week I watched the debuts of Good Doctor, Master's Sun,…
I'm laughing so much right now. It's okay, I'll love Good Doctor a little more in your stead, Nina. :,)

Ah, I'm so glad you were able to see Kusanagi-san! He's such a versatile and sensitive actor. Most of his roles are wildly different from each other, so I'm sure you'll continue to enjoy your run-ins with him.
There are five members of SMAP and I think they all act prominently. These others are Inagaki Goro, Katori Shingo, and Nakai Masahiro. Many people really like Katori-san's Bara no Hanaya in particular, if I remember correctly. It's crazy how talented this group is.
Since it's a film, I'll try to watch it right away if it can be found. I have a few spare hours this evening. :)

Same. Especially the video game love. I actually don't have either, at least anymore. I used to use Tumblr often, but it wasn't for dramas, so....

Ah, same! Though on my part, it's more from enjoying medical shows in general. It must be difficult for you watching them occasionally, since sometimes the writers will make the science somewhat ridiculous for plot purposes.

It would be great right? I have a feeling I'd be dead poor constantly with all of the amazing things to do, own, and eat.
I noticed you started Good Doctor. Hopefully you're liking it so far. :) I'm part of the recap team for it, and while the medical sequences are a little hard to describe, it's been a pleasure to watch.

I'm also a huge fan of the "human experience" dramas Japan does. Sometimes they can be a little over sentimental, but that can be refreshing. It must have been fun to watch with your mother; I sometimes still do with mine, though when she gets attached to an actor, she gets *really* attached.
Thank you for reminding me about Love and Honor! I kept meaning to watch it and somehow never got around to doing so. Isn't it lucky Kimura-san has a huge filmography then? Some of his bandmates in SMAP have some pretty good acting chops as well...Kusanagi Tsuyoshi comes to mind.

The only other problem I can think of is running out of new dramas and movies your bias has starred in. Now that's a whole other level of pain.
