Not their friends or from they circle, but many athletes, singers, popular novel writers posted they watching…
Nice! I've been wondering if previous cast members or even the cast of LLTG have made comments about Wu Lei's acting in this. He's been around for so long, but this is the first deeply disturbed/complex character I've seen him play and I hope they all love it. So far, I've only seen the director and other cast members comment on ZL and while its well deserved, I wanna hear them praise him tooooo.

well I also disagreed with her take on ADoS and LBFAD so I guess we have different tastes heh.
Yeah, she was absolutely feral over the "chemistry" in ADoS. I felt it too, but not nearly to the same degree as her. She was literally fanning herself in her reviews. I got very frustrated with ADoS at the last 3rd of the drama with the pointless misunderstanding/breakup, etc, and how often they weren't in the same storyline together. I agree with her on LBFAD though. I adore that drama. I'm just dumbstruck that she'd dislike LLTG. Then again, she's the outlier here considering the show's global success, so whatever. lol.
I hated Huo Wushang in eps 50-51, he broke niaoniao's heartðŸ˜
i just felt so sad for him. he ruined his own life too. he destroyed everything for his vengeance and for what. the dead are still gone, and now he's alone.
What are you guys watching after this drama ended? I spent my Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings watching…
i'm watching Love Between Fairy and Devil (also obsessed) but it's ending soon. I also just started The Imperial Coroner (very different show, but I like that the male lead looks so similar to Jackson Yee), anddddd yeah. I'm also floundering for new shows.
I know some of you like AvenueX on YouTube for her reviews, but I can't disagree with her more on her take on LLTG P1 & P2. She's definitely not a fan, and I DONT SEE HOW. I disagree with her on almost every single point. She thinks the romance is lacking, the writing and acting is meh, and she even criticized the lighting/choreography, like WTF lady. Guess you can't please everyone.
I was a bit disappointed by that I was looking forward to seeing their wedding and years after the wedding but…
He didnt know he'd abandon her though. He spent 10 years trying to legally find ways to bring justice to his family. It was after he repeatedly lost every fight to get justice that he became very desperate. His aunts death threw him over the edge. He tried several times to tell CSS the truth before then. He didnt know he would abandon her until Jun Hua died. He said as much when he admitted he decided to abandon CSS when he saw her off before the wedding. He explained it a bit when he revealed who he was to the Emperor as well. He was determined to die for his vengeance and felt like he had no choice. I just felt..so sad for him. Hes only 21. He shouldnt have had to live his life that way. So much death on his shoulders. Killing the Ling family after marriage would have essentially been a death sentence for CSS and her whole family. I dont think he had another choice. Just wish we saw those reconcilliation chapters more fleshed out in the drama. You would have loved his begging/sobbing scene.
I totally agree with you. This drama is brilliant. The acting of both leads are superb😊. Lusi’s crying scenes…
He cried a lot more in Crossfire, but the crying in this felt more heavy to me. In Crossfire, he's a teenager grieving the death of his brother. Its not a leap for me to see that organically happen. In LLTG, it was a lot more harrowing to see because its so hugely out of character for Zisheng. Hes strong, hes got his layers upon layers of metal barriers that keep him firm and upstanding in his convictions...but then we see the revenge plot and we see him lose everything and everyone. We see him become a shell of himself. Those tears were agonizing to watch. I hope he wins an award for his performance.
Any Chinese celebrities mention this drama yet? Like, people in WL or ZLs circles who mentioned theyre watching it, etc? Im super curious what people are saying.
This drama continues to serve one of the healthiest, strongest narratives I've ever seen in a drama while also spoon-feeding me THE. MOST. DELICIOUS. whump I've ever seen. It's Dylan Wang's world, we're just livin' in it.
Dylan Wang as DFQC getting the 8 bone spike torture punishment was some of the sexiest, most convincing whump I've EVER seen. I rewatched those scenes way too many times. He makes a gorgeous anguished/pain face.
My withdrawals are so bad, i had a dream there was an epilogue episode and woke up so excited to watch it, and now im depressed all over again. Lol 🥴ðŸ˜
Anywayyyy /vent over.
