is this part better than the first one? i got bored in this first around ep 8-10, is this part more interesting?
Make your own decision. I adored it. People in these comment sections can be WAY too petty. Don't miss out on an incredible drama because of a few comments among the fray.

I can't even lie, the only natural chemistry in this entire show is between Chen Mobai's sister and her driver.…
Totally agree. I LOVED her in Rainless Love in a Godless Land. She was so flat here.

I love Ai Di and Chen Yi's chemistry more than the main couples. Not sure why you hate Ai Di....
I'm only watching for Ai Di and Chen Yi's storyline.

Just watched Ep 13: Jang Juwon and that crushed me. I havent bawled like that in a really long time. The dressing room scene. My god, that was just devastating.

The law office. The seperation from prosecution. His ring. His glasses. The backstory was so important.

I just got to the part in the series where they show his backstory and the tone shifts to a darker narrative. I assume this is where most people shift and they got pissy that the drama wasnt the same as the 1st half. SO GLAD I WATCHED ANYWAY. The shift makes total sense, and i loved the backstory explaining who he used to be, what happened, and why he is the way he is now. I thought it was fascinating and totally in line with the drama. There were moments earlier during periods of levity, like when they were drinking beer that a darker look with a story would flash across his face and just as quickly disappear. This portion of the drama explains those moments and it all makes sense. Love this show.

The drama Love Like the Galaxy Cdrama was 56 episodes. They splitted in 2 parts. We thought that it would take…
Love Like The Galaxy is my all-time favorite Chinese drama. It's 100% worth the hype it got last year as the #1 drama.

His voice is like music to my ears! So soothing! He has a beautiful smile too.🥰❤️
Yes! It's a gorgeous smile. I love the way his eyes squint when he smiles at our FL. It's a full smile that reaches his otherwise (VERY) intense eyes.

Namkoong Min's voice is its own character in this drama. Every sound that comes out of his mouth ascends me. My goodness graceous, what a stellar voice. 🤤

I dropped this like a sack of potatoes. I'll only continue watching this god-awful drama by utilizing their overwrought, lazy reminder about the Di family's misfortune for a drinking game. My lord. The repetition of which writers felt it necessary to remind us about their tragedy as if we're drooling cows incapable of comprehension. I'm honestly surprised they didn't break into a slow-cadenced song for toddlers, explaining the plot and "why we should be sad" to us. I loved Gong Jun in Word of Honor. His facial expressions were animated and emoted hysteria, rage, flirtatiousness, and love with a sometimes exaggerated flair that added to his character's flamboyance in the most exhilarating way. He was a color of beige in this drama, and it's a real shame. Plus, how many times is he gonna be thrown off a cliff? This drama makes it, what, 5? Dilraba's acting'll never convince me. I don't know if she's ever experienced real-life trauma (or proper coaching) in a way that gives her gravitas for her heavier scenes; she just looks like she's Dilraba acting sad. Her grief never convinces me. The earlier episodes with her sassy flirtatiousness was more believable, and I thought they were funny enough. I had a lot of expectations overall that fell so very flat.
IMO- When it comes to KDRAMAS, you have to give it a good 1-3 episode watch BEFORE making an opinion so it gets it's kinks and cringe moments worked out. Once the story lands and the characters have all been introduced (or, in this case, re-introduced), it can stretch and work its narrative magic. We'll see if that's the case here. I was a *massive* fan of S1, and S2 has been very cringe for me to watch so far. The only villain that sparks my interest is the main big bad. His other two goons are trying too hard to be "the edgy, alternative villains."

Title Lost You Forever Spoiler
question for book readers-
Is there ever a moment in the books when Tushan Jing's 9 tails come into play? Isn't he a fox demon? Is there ever an OP moment, or is he using his fox strength toward his intelligence? I'm just curious if there's more to him because his power seems to be a bit of a mystery. At least to me.

Am I the only one experiencing serious synch issues? The dubbing and the mouths are SO off. I've tried watching it through Viki and Kisskh to see if the issue is the platform on which I'm watching it, and it's awful. Sometimes, their mouth matches the dub, but they're off-synch, and sometimes the words are completely different altogether from what they're saying (and I'm not sure what could be censored at that moment).
