They collaborated on Find Yourself too, if you haven’t seen it yet. Also meaningful message about life, friendship,…
It just shows how their writing is only improving as time goes on. I hope they stick with this director. I love how meticulous he is with every little details.

Yeah I was like that felt random at first, then later when LX spoke to her I was like ah I see. This drama’s script is so tightly written.

Did you notice the parallel the show threw in with this scene when LX said if she really liked him, she would've been more concerned about his personal life and the scene when she and JJ were having breakfast with LX and ZQ? As soon as ZQ mentioned his uncle was sick (who I even forgot about), MY was immediately alert and worried how his uncle was doing. This means she still has feelings for him.

Even though it's sad that they leave, there are still cute moments sprinkled in with their long distance communication. The online episodes are divided differently than the TV episodes, but I would safely assume that by Episode 12 is when the "9 years later" happen.

As for Ziqiu, he goes with his biological father to England. Eventually, this dad is able to have a son with his wife after all and decides to ditch Ziqiu. Ziqiu feels guilty for having left papa Li and also to relieve him from the financial burden of caring for 2 kids, stayed away to work while studying.

Why today only have 1 episode ???!!!!
Because online releases are the DVD version which splits up the episodes at different segment than the version aired on Chinese TV. On days we get 1 episode is because there hasn’t been enough shown on the TV version yet to make 2 full 45 minutes episodes online. So online releases(the versions we get to watch) won’t stay consistently 2 episodes as the schedule shows.

i'm curious, does anyone know how the drama is doing in china? people internationally have been liking it so far.
After Episodes 5-6, it got 1.44% average rating nationally and ranked 2nd out of the top 30 TV ratings ranking list. So yeah it’s pretty well on its way to being a huge Summer hit if it keeps up this momentum.

Loved it so much. Perfect balance of heart tugging emotions and touches of comedy to lift the mood. I knew this director/writer combo wouldn't let me down. The dad is such a great father figure. Slight warning for those who want to avoid spoilers and want to stay guessing as to who the love interest is, I suggest you don't watch the opening or closing credits.

Title Twenty Your Life On Spoiler
just now i watched until ep 23 and after seeing all the previews until ep 26, i can smh foresee the ship sinking…
I've been skimming through to see Duan Zhenyu's progress but unfortunately they strung him along with XG until the very end. Even the previews for the final episode tomorrow is showing that he's still hung up on her while her feelings are unchanged (sigh). It's frustrating especially since objectively you can see how the other guy just isn't the right option. Like if XG ends up with boss man, she'll end up like one of the girls that are going through problems in Nothing but Thirty. At this point, I don't get what's so great about her that would keep him liking her when she rejected him 3 times. It's a self fulfilling wish of the writer to have a good looking, athletic, rich, younger man relentlessly pines after the plain average girl. Like I don't even care anymore that she doesn't like him back. I just don't like how they kept him pining after her throughout the entire drama. It makes me so angry.

Have you tried watching on iQIYI’s official app or website? They release 2 new subbed eps everyday for non VIP…
Yeah I feel it’s a little random since they’re a Chinese drama streaming platform.

That's because iQIYI bought rights to air those dramas. I guess they're expanding into showing Kdramas on their apps because of the large audience for it.

BTW if you’re a Wang An Yu fan and haven’t watched it yet, I highly recommend his other drama Our Shiny Days. Really cute love line for his parts in that drama.

Yeah I’ve skimmed through and can see where it’s heading too. With a good amount of eps left, what I’m hoping happens is that this is supposed to be some kind of love lesson for XG to experience and she’ll end up heartbroken by the boss. All the while little brother is still waiting around to comfort her and that’s when she’ll realize what an awesome guy he actually is. But until that happens I’m going to put this on hold until it finishes to see if my hope is correct. Save me from the heartbreak for little brother if it doesn’t.

I also ship her with the little brother. And don't like her boss at all.
Right, there is no chemistry with him. He's kind of a jerk and I'm so over the "overbearing CEO" trope in dramas these days.

Title It's Okay to Not Be Okay Spoiler
Also, maaaybe and just maaaybe... that potential MY's mom.. what if she has some sort of delusions or identity…
I have a similar theory as you and I think it is very much a possibility. She is a big fan of the writer. Maybe she imitated the plot of that book she had. I forget the detail of earlier episodes, but does GT and ST's mom work at the Welfare Center? They focused on ST's backpack in the flashback and the logo had a butterfly on it. The killer was upset about her child being taken away. Maybe their mom was involved somehow, and this lady wanted to take revenge and did so by assuming the writer's identity in order to get away with it. The only missing puzzle is they never mentioned that MY's mom died, only that she disappeared. My theory for that is that MY's mom abused her when she was little and father knew about it. And when he found her dead and bloody he thought that his daughter did it and covered it up somehow to protect her. So he loves her but fears her at the same time.
