As for Linghe, the difference now from the past dramas is everything is being publicized as it should. Fans are smarter and no longer brush warning signs under the rug hoping for the best as a way to support him like they did TPR, OG... And those who use him as stepping stone or bood bags? Good luck to them at succeeding after they leave his dramas. I have yet to see anyone go higher than where they were originally 🤷🏻♀️. Five minutes of fame don't last forever.

Anyway, there's the saying that there's no small roles, only small actors. Linghe has this innate ability to capture audiences and turn them into fans no matter how his character is butchered or scenes cut out. For example, people who only watched OG after the fact and had no idea he was only used as a traffic tool to push a big FL story were only talking about his scenes as JQX and how they wished he had more screen time. Same with POJ, it was mainly XZ who generated the most discussion and gained him the most attention even though his highlights were given to the FL. So no matter how Ci Tang turns out, we can at least be sure he'll be outstanding in his scenes.

You know with every shady thing that has been happening since the announcement of this drama, we don't rule anything out anymore. So it's better to expect the worst and be surprised by something opposite. I have no problem being proven wrong if this drama airs and all my 💩 talking about it turns out to be unfounded because it only means ZLH is treated well after all :)
Being a long time ZLH fan will make you get used to it after a while lol. Just laugh it off and look forward to his other dramas :) We'll eventually make it to a day when he will get the whole package: good producer, good script, good director, good crew, good costar, good marketing.

I think it's hilarious how committed 🍋 is to this act while everyone knows exactly what the deal is. After what happened with Daylight, I never trust any PH ever again thinking they are reputable.
My concern is he doesn't have enough people on his side watching him. I need him to have more cameras on him so that if something happens like what happened with tjc, there will be plenty of supporting evidence to discredit whatever they try to spin.

Yeah if he had been his usual sunny self I would have been relieved too because then maybe things behind the scenes aren't as bad as we perceive. I understand that helpless feeling of being in a toxic work environment where you have to grin and bear everything even though you are frustrated inside. I actually really liked TPR novel, but the drama ruined it for me and I couldn't bring myself to reread it anymore because I kept having images of that actress as the princess and how she treated drama PWX 😔
