Let's not be so impatient and quick to judge FL. I'm sure we're going to get an explanation into her thought process from this episode during their next "bench heart 2 heart" session in episode 10. Good thing Dr. He doesn't have an over-thinker brain and quick to get offended when it comes to the weird behavior from Shen Xifan or we would have no more romance to watch.

The timing and usage of the OSTs are so perfect. The build up leading into the first verse's line "I'm not afraid of how long the night lasts, your voice will always be soft" just as He Suye stood up and stretched across the dining table to give her food while smiling sweetly, it's as if despite misunderstandings, he will still be gentle and patient to compensate for her insecurities and baggage.

If you call back to trailer #2's voiceovers, He Suye said "Just love yourself well, I'll make up for the rest" and Shen Xifan said, "It's you who grabbed my hand, never letting go." So we might have a few more imperfect moments from FL happening down the line and He Suye will be her healer physically and mentally.
