The one complaint I have for this drama is the arrangement of BGM in this drama is not that great. It's so unfitting for the scene sometimes. Every time that "mustache twirling villain 'dun dun dun' music" comes on, I laugh.

Good thing for big Xiao Duo she unknowingly forced 4 of those red pills on him. Otherwise, I don't think little Xiao Duo would be able to resist that kind of attack. Wait until she finds out what they really do 😂

It finally reached 9,000 heat index on iqiyi with today's episodes. If it reaches 10,000 at some point, WHD will shampoo his hair upside down. Fans are waiting 😁

Yeah and doesn't the dreamer usually always wake up right before the kiss can actually happen? So it seemed normal to me as I was watching the new ep and then only saw the bts afterwards.

Are you watching Flight to You? Same kind of FL.

Honestly, I don't mind that these were edited out anymore. If there's too much skinship shown before they officially get together, it might not be as exciting when it happens. It helps build up the anticipation to their real physical intimacy scenes. Like, I was so nervous they would edit down the keeping warm scene and the bed scene, but these were left alone and they were great.

BTS link of the cut dream sequence is added to the discussion thread.

This makes so much sense. I was trying to wrap my head around who could've possibly been able to get a hold of it as I imagine it's guarded information.

Oh yeah he can carry a tune when it comes time for it. I was joking as I think he is perfect in almost all aspects... looks, personality, athleticism... Fans have posted often clips teasing his singing so I find them amusing. As for tonight's performance, he definitely has a really good PR team. They knew the right song to choose and the staging of the performance's combination of traditional plus modern was great. His stylist always knocks it out of the park with his outfits (modern day DFQC tonight).

They left his natural voice in The Rational Life, so I think modern drama is fine.

I did not mean it in the context you're referring to as I envisioned a cartoon image in my head. But I will change my wording, and monkeys are quite intelligent actually.

God has to be fair, one person can't be perfect at everything 😆

I picture a bunch of silly people sitting around a table discussing rules to enforce on drama productions every time I read about the censors board 😂

His name is Han Haotian and this is his very first drama.

Yeah I noticed only those long white ones were blurred. It's so crazy. I wonder how the aesthetic quality of historical dramas will turn out after all the productions start following the new regulations.

I wonder why the lanterns were blurred.

Yet Xiao Duo still found her hypnotizing so guess that goes to show how much he must like her 😄

You make sense about the rushed editing job though. This was considered an A category drama which is less invested than the S or S+ so they probably didn't pay much care to it (especially with how badly received MTD was) until WHD unexpectedly blew up this summer and all the fans demanded this release.

The filming for this began in June of 2021 actually. WHD jumped into this right after LBFD wrapped.

Yeah, when she compared him to the poisonous root, that's when she moved him. Then when she kept banging into the tree just to make the blossoms fall for him, I think that's when he fell. Metaphorically, the tree represented his heart. She was knocking on his heart. I think all the physical scenes they cut were superficial at this stage anyway. You have to pay attention to their conversations. Hopefully, they don't cut too many of the later kissing scenes, because that's when it really matters lol.
