No problem! This is the only drama that's hooking my interest so I'm dying for something new to watch soon!

They created official character profiles on Weibo last week though. So I’m still betting on that 11/1 date. If not then some time in November still. One of the OST’s artists also said there is a song coming soon.

This drama is almost reaching 2 million reservations on iQIYI. To think that before LBFAD no one really even paid it any attention. I’m really happy for WHD.

The teaser looks really promising, but this screenwriter makes me so nervous. Most of her past works seemed mediocre at best. I'm really hoping for another hit for WHD after LBFaD.

Thank you for the recs, I'll take a look at them! I don't watch BLs but don't mind it if it's a good story and have actors I like. I might just check out the Untamed and Word of Honor too since I'm in the mood for costume dramas but nothing else is keeping my attention.

Watched 8 eps and it's still going strong. The emotional beats really resonate with me as a viewer. I loved the scene when Yucheng explains why he loves high jump so much. Everything is pretty much great, but my god it was such a poor choice for them to use this filter. Everything is so blurred and foggy, especially whenever they're in bright settings. It's fine when used for short flashback or dreamy scenes, but not for an entire drama.

I don’t like that they’re going to drag out the daily release with only 26 episodes. I’ve gotten used to 30+ episodes Cdramas so 26 is short for me.

Watched the first four episodes. This is shaping up to be one of those short and sweet, but packs an emotional punch types of drama. Wang Anyu is just so good in these modern roles.

It was never said romantically. They just do a lot of scheming together because he has ambitions of raising his ranking. So it'll probably be a lot of time spent plotting. Anyway, I could care less if there's any kind of romance in this drama. I'm just here to watch WHD play a morally gray character.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they picked him after seeing how well he voiced DFQC. I remember an earlier trailer of LBFD with a different voice dubber and he did not sound good at all lol.

From what I heard from people who have read the novel, majority of the focus in on ML and ZL's character. Even in the story, the FML was unmemorable. Not sure if they'll shift more focus onto her in the drama.

I thought it sounded like him too, but just one octave higher to differentiate his character from LBFD.

I saw that too! Also, I think they also edited the color grading of the flashback scenes from CH? I remember when watching iQiyi's version, I couldn't tell it was a flashback at first because the coloring looked the same, but Netflix made the colors a little more faded as soon as those scenes appeared (I need to go back and compare). Maybe Netflix gave them more budget for additional effects.

Since Netflix is slowly releasing episodes per day, maybe they'll edit in the extras from 9/12 and 9/16 right into the actual drama by the time it finishes.

If you're into variety shows... I started watching The Irresistible S1 with DW on it and it helped with my LBFD withdrawals.
