They did that with Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms and I wanted so much more because it wasn't enough.
Anyway, so far all of the scenes from the MVs/trailers have all been twisted and none turned out as we speculated, so I can only hope for more good surprises from the Cang Lan Jue team.
I’m confused about the trailer for Ep 32. He says he knows she is a dream so is it just his imagination? It…
From what I read, all this is in his dream and he needs to wake from it. Supposedly he saved a piece of XLH's spirit after she sacrificed herself with the sword. Then she'll be revived, but loses all memories of what she had with him. This is why we see her marrying CH as her goddess self.
I'm really hoping they'll let us pay for advance viewing this week rather than make us wait until next Saturday.

I'm so glad Esther gave him tips on how to do it so that it came across really natural on screen. I was scared their mutual kisses would look cringe because his kiss scenes in The Rational Life looked so awkward.
Agreed. It also made me mad at the beginning of ep 39 that the writers were making ML's plan of going to France…
Exactly. And this drama tried to feed us b.s. about life is not as fluffy as we imagine it to be ala that troll dream sequence Kesong had about Oliver accepting his disabilities and learning to overcome it without being a crybaby about it, but then they go and contradict themselves with a fluffy dance sequence ending. Ridiculous.
That dream sequence should have been a real portrayal of their relationship development and his character growth, despite losing his senses. Should have kept it permanent and ended it that way with her being his pillar. The whole point was he was such an amazing chef that he could still cook while blind and unable to properly taste, but not so egotistical anymore. I’m still unbelievably annoyed I wasted my time watching all of this drama.

Thought so. Thanks for confirming. He basically had no character dev other than not yelling at Kesong anymore. Still self centered as when the drama started.
The story was rushed at the end, the Romance was built up for no reason other than to to tease the audience, the…
Agreed. It also made me mad at the beginning of ep 39 that the writers were making ML's plan of going to France with FL fake? He was going to ditch her to work on the cruise ship with Boris, if I understood that right? I did a lot of fast forwarding during the last quarter of this drama so I may have missed something.
Ah what a sweet ending! This was such a lovely drama from beginning to end. Romantic without the artificial sweetener cringe and very likable cast of characters, from leads to supporting. Going on my rewatch and favorite list ❤️
Who approved this hot mess of a script into production and why is Sun Yi and Zhang Binbin a part of this??? Even that fact is baffling, just like the rest of this drama.
Those temper tantrums from Han Shuang are the worst. She needs to grow up. Doesn’t help that the actress is chewing scenery when she acts upset. It’s so badly acted. The last few episodes up to 30 have been a hot mess. Things are happening so out of nowhere. Only the leads are remaining consistent with their relationship, but they’re barely even shown. It’s like they’ve been downgraded to second leads.
Will there be other women to harass them, will his ex come back, will he want to be with his ex?
His ex is back. That’s who I said tried to choke Xia Yan, but she’s pretending to be a nice person outwardly. No, he does not want to be with her and he’s made that clear to both the ex and Xia Yan
This is starting to give me strong Kdrama makjang vibes. That ex gf actually tried to choke Xia Yan in the elevator scene before attempting to “save” her. That was scary. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s going to turn psycho later.
Can't wait for the Eng subs....can anyone tell why the lady professor fights with MFL in ep 22 after being manipulated…
The two were trying to convince her that the ex bf is really a bad guy and she shouldn’t believe the persona that he’s showing her. But she still goes on defending him so Han Shuang asks if she really likes him. She admits that she’s liked him before Xia Yan and he got together and she pushed those feelings aside since they started dating.
Please who know Chinese could summarize the main couple's dialogue when they meet in chapter 19
He said he was sorry he couldn’t be there in time to protect her from being framed, but he would never allow her to be fired. She thought he crashed his car because he was rushing back to meet her, and before he could explain it was because of the voice message from his old flame she kissed him. He then admits again that he likes her. He’s liked her since he first saw her at the airport. He lied to himself at first, thinking that he was only trying to help her get away from the scumbag ex-bf, but even after they split he still couldn’t see her as just a colleague. When he was in the US and she met with trouble, he was very regretful that he didn’t confess sooner. If she was his gf, she would’ve come to him for help. Then he asked her to let him be with her from now on, no matter if it’s in times of happiness or sadness.
in the preview shows the main the ceo in a black outfit is he marrying someone else or getting engaged?
The traditional Chinese outfits right? Looks like it’s Han Shuang and Ma Ke’s wedding that they’re attending. FML seems to be running after Han Shuang who ran off angry and ML was calling her back.
I watched 6 episodes, I can't get into this story. I loved the previous story in the series, Happiness Method...IT'S…
It bothers me whenever she hits him too. That scene when she was beating him with the basket would never be tolerated if the genders were reversed. I actually really like the theme of social media and the change it can bring to rural towns so that part is keeping me interested. Reminds me of Li Ziqi and her YouTube videos. Plus I love BJT’s acting.
I’ve seen the 4 eps that are out and this is turning out to be such a pleasant surprise. Just the right amount of cuteness without the cringe and she’s actually a capable grown woman. I don’t feel like the story is happening just to fulfill a writer’s fantasy of dating a younger man. It’s well established why he would be in love with her so I can actually believe that if they were real people, they would actually work out.
Agreed. Other than the leads it's feels like just filler. I either skip or play on 2X mode for anything that is…
It’s strange that the writer can make you follow and root for the leads, but not feel the same for the side characters… I now feel the book cafe owner is too good for that friend with how her story is progressing.
