Thinking back... In the mortal realm, 1 bride and 1 groom were dead, and the other 2 went missing. It must have…
People were joking how it seems like a ghost drama. One night some random rich guy just shows up with his mansion and then next thing you know there’s a double wedding and people ended up murdered while he and his servants disappeared without a trace 😂
DFQC's dream actually reflected the thoughts and things going on in his subconscious mind as dreams always do.…
Yes to these and when she was begging him not to go was his subconscious fighting with itself between hanging on to the illusion or get back to reality.
I'm confused when Si Ming explained the Tian Jin mirror. She said those who can see the prophecy can definitely…
I interpreted it as the marriage happened because they were the cause of reviving her if that makes sense. So they saw the result of their actions. Not sure if Danyin will have anymore part in it later, but she was the one who revealed first that XLH was really the goddess which put some of the following motions into action. Now DFQC will work to revive her which then leads to her marrying CH.
The author signed contract with the production team, I think we'll see this soooon
Crosses fingers for the same director and script writer plus lead actors please. I'm already used to this Siming and Changyuan (even though he only had a few wordless minutes)
- Sifu's lines about love is not fate. It's so true. Often romance makes it seem like fate is what makes two people come together and fall in love. It somehow devalues the significance of the romance because it's like they're "forced" to fall in love. Whereas this just makes it so much better because we can be forced to meet, but to fall in love or not is still our choice.
- XLH asking to get sun as she was dying. The way this scene was so much more tragic because it calls back to the first time DFQC took Orchid to get sun in Arbiter Hall.
- Him drawing her eyebrows in his dream. I know the Chinese significance is it's something done by a husband to a wife. But to me it calls back to the ugly makeup he put on her during the mortal arc versus how prettily he put make up on her here 😭😭😭
Who else thinks they did an excellent job with casting the voice actor for Dylan Wang…the voice is perfect for…
I love his tone when he gets all loud and passionate yelling out his dialogues. You can hear the emotions in it. He also matches his voice perfectly to Dylan’s mouth movements, so you really believe that it’s coming out of him.
While waiting for Saturday I watch many BTS and become more impressed with the CGI team, art team, lighting team,…
The lighting is really impressive, especially for those sunset scenes. It looks so beautiful on screen but bts it is a bunch of blue walls lol. I'm so glad they didn't go for that washed out over exposed filter like most xianxia.
