Title Legend of Fu Yao Spoiler
Does the novel have a happy ending or tragic?
Supposedly the lead actor had accidentally spilled that it's a HE from one of his interviews.

I’ve just seen the first 6 eps and I can guarantee this is going to be the next crack drama on par with Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms. If anything it might be even more addictive as it took me until ep. 10 of TMOPB to be fully engaged. Whereas with Fuyao I was already completely enthralled by the end of ep. 2.

The cinematography is very good and the CGIs aren’t as cringe-y as they usually are in Chinese fantasy series. The camera work and fight scenes are well done. The OSTs and background music are fitting and appropriate to the scenes. All the casts so far are eye catching and fitting of their characters. The plot is intriguing and moves quickly along with a touch of mystery to keep you wondering. And lastly the two leads’ chemistry is already on fire and the love story has barely begun.

I’m happy for all the TMOPB fans who were still searching for something to fill the void. As of right now this is it.

Can anyone recommend a show or movie like this to watch while I wait? I’ve seen Ten Miles and loved it and can’t…
I recommend The Romance of the Condor Heroes with Chen Xiao. It's along the type of what you're looking for.

It's really fun so far. Jang Nara is great. The scenes with her mom really made me tear up a lot. I still need some time to warm up to the male lead but whoo the second male lead is hot! And omg Heo Jungmin and his muscular arms, I died laughing.

Definitely worth checking out. This was pretty under the radar for me against all the new kdramas premiering this week but the first episode was quite good. The leads have very nice chemistry as well.

Just binge watched until the latest episode. Which days are the new ones airing?
Monday to Saturday = 2 episodes per day
Sunday = 1 episode

With the way the plotline is developing, I'm glad we don't have to wait all week for episodes.

Oh, I hate that other branch of the family! Hate, hate, hate. But I love, love, love the students at their school.…
You have much patience to watch without subtitles! I tried adding subtitles based on my language's translation and holy moly, it took almost an entire day just to do half an episode. So I gave up because I was neglecting other duties.

Binged the first 12 episodes, and honestly, Shen Xingyi is a complete nutjob. I don't know if I can keep…
He yelled "Zhouying, in this lifetime I will make you mine!" which of course anyone awake can hear and will be cause for gossip tsk tsk

Have you watched ep 17? Keep reading only if you've seen it and won't be spoiled.

He and the foster father's antics provided a much needed comic relief for me right now with all this business politics and Zhouying being depressed going on. I was cracking up laughing when he was climbing over the wall to sneak into Zhouying's room (foster father's idea) First he was worried about her reputation because of it (foster father tells him it's for her own good) then he worried about his reputation (foster father responded with something like "you're known as the crown champ of "good for nothing" in this city all these years and now you're worried about your reputation?) to which Xingyi straightaway replied "you're right" and kept on climbing over. I died laughing at that scene.

Okay, as I watching without subs, what's up with the creepy duo who keep meeting up with Shen Xingyi's…
As Amanda stated, Mr. Du and his lackey are the cause of all the drama that have come to fall upon the Wu family now. He's controlled by a higher up but we have yet to see who that is. He planted the fake merch causing all the misunderstandings between the Shen, Wu, and Hu family. After they had the falling out, he proceeded to plant evil thoughts into Mr. Shen and Mr. Hu's minds that led them to take actions that caused negative effects on the Wu family. I believe the Wu's are the most prosperous in the city so Mr. Du's orders are to take them out.

But if you've seen up to the latest episodes, it seems the Wu have enemies within the family as well. It's dangerous to have so much money. Sorry if you didn't need all that extra information. I wish someone would sub this soon for only English speakers who can't get the details without subtitles as it is such a great drama right now.

By the way, the opera singer in the preview is actually Xingyi hehe.

I think the purpose of Xingyi is the tremendous growth that he will go through by the end of the drama due to his feelings for Zhouying. Also he's probably going to contribute a lot to help her overcome hardships later on when life gets tougher.

From episode 13 on to the current he's already started going through changes. I find his character much more interesting to watch on screen than Wu Ping. Although Wu Ping and Zhouying's love was very sweet I am ready for Xingyi to get more more spotlight now.

DramaFever or Viki should pick up this drama asap.

I've just binged 7 episodes today and it's totally entertaining. The acting is great from all of the cast. Directing, cinematography and costumes look very good. The storyline is interesting with some mystery thrown in. The pacing is moving nicely without pointless fillers so I am crossing my fingers this keeps up to the end. We are heading into 75 episodes here, so there is danger of it getting dragged on but somehow I'm getting a good feeling about this not being an issue based on what I've seen.

And finally the female lead is AWESOME and I am really looking forward to her being all smart and badass till the end.

Title Eternal Love
I feel that this drama is way too overrated. To have just .1 rating lower than epic masterpiece like Nirvana in…
I think to each his own taste. Just as how there is a reason for those to love Nirvana In Fire, there is a reason why Eternal Love is near the same scale. If you see the top four dramas, each belong to a very specific genre. You have Signal (thriller investigation), NIF (historical and political intrigue), 1 Liters (melodrama sadness), Eternal Love (fantasy romance). It just shows there is a variety of tastes in ratings. In the romantic fantasy genre, EL just happens to be the top of them all. Just watching until episode 16 doesn't encompass all that the drama achieved like it did for those who completed the 58 episodes. The directing was beautiful (camera angles, strategic panning, cinematography, costumes), plot line was logical to its rules with little details that eventually led to an "aha" revelation (something you'll pick up on repeat viewings), and all actors did a great job in their roles, both individually and together. And the major bonus was it had a HE which makes our drama life a little more beautiful when trying to escape the reality of our actual lives. So in essence I don't think it's "overrated", maybe it's just not your cup of tea since you ended at ep 16, whereas for the rest of us, that was when the true drama addiction kicked in until the end.

Title Eternal Love
I was finding it really hard to get over this drama when it ended and to find a new drama to watch, so right now…
Funny thing, the opposite of what happened with me while watching EL is happening with PA. When I started EL my interest was so so, watched because I was bored. However as the series went on the interest grew and then after the 10-14 episodes came, I was addicted. Whereas with PA I was addicted from the beginning, but as the drama goes on my interests started to wane. And then by the 10-13 episodes I ended up dropping it and went back to watching Eternal Love haha.
