Yeah I like Vietnamese translations because it’s the closest in meaning to Chinese compared to English, but sometimes the subs go by so fast I get lost because I can’t read Viet as fluently as I can English lol.
Just saw the previews for ep 29-30, looks like it's going down!!! AHHHHH, cant wait!!! BTW any vietnamese watcher…
It’s because a streaming service in VN (their version of Viki or DramaFever) bought the exclusive rights to it so BiluTV had to stop their subbing. Unfortunately international viewers doesn’t have access to their episodes but there are some sites that take their subs and uploaded online. No dubs that I know of though so sorry you can’t watch anymore.
This was a very enjoyable watch throughout. The leads had great chemistry and I like Ethan’s character here much better than his role in Fated to Love You. The lead actress was pretty and I really like her character. She definitely stands up to the test of time for the image of an independent woman. The Korean version actress’s face made me so uncomfortable to watch. This is a little more real to life as far as the emotions and how characters dealt with the situations. The final few hours became a little of a drag but I guess they really had to throw all those issues out there to show us that this couple will make it to the end of their lives together.
omg can we please stop with the acting treating Fu Yao badly just to protect her?his flirting with concubines…
Also that was only like at the last 10 minutes of episode 22. Everything before is definitely worth watching as there is a touching scene of Wuji caring for her when she was hurt.

It’s not that bad actually. Fuyao looked a little bit surprised he got stern but didn’t seem all that hurt by it. We’ll probably see in the next ep that he was purposely doing it to get a reaction out of Fuyao so that she would realize her feelings for him. He even got his mole to try and get it out of her in their conversation afterwards.
In the book, it's basically the Fu Yao fan club. ^_^
From book readers' comparisons and what's shown so far(ep 19-20) there has been major changes made to the love lines and who falls for Fuyao. Don't worry I don't think it will be the harem that the book was.
I liked the drama, but I feel like the ending is kind of rushed. It's also super unclear.
I’ve noticed that with ep. 1 the iQiyi version was chopped up quite a bit while the one posted on YoYo Television’s YouTube had extra scenes that explained a lot more. I’m assuming this is the TV broadcast version. Perhaps once the finale airs on TV it’ll be more complete as well.
I’ve just seen the first 6 eps and I can guarantee this is going to be the next crack drama on par with Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms. If anything it might be even more addictive as it took me until ep. 10 of TMOPB to be fully engaged. Whereas with Fuyao I was already completely enthralled by the end of ep. 2.
The cinematography is very good and the CGIs aren’t as cringe-y as they usually are in Chinese fantasy series. The camera work and fight scenes are well done. The OSTs and background music are fitting and appropriate to the scenes. All the casts so far are eye catching and fitting of their characters. The plot is intriguing and moves quickly along with a touch of mystery to keep you wondering. And lastly the two leads’ chemistry is already on fire and the love story has barely begun.
I’m happy for all the TMOPB fans who were still searching for something to fill the void. As of right now this is it.
It's really fun so far. Jang Nara is great. The scenes with her mom really made me tear up a lot. I still need some time to warm up to the male lead but whoo the second male lead is hot! And omg Heo Jungmin and his muscular arms, I died laughing.
Definitely worth checking out. This was pretty under the radar for me against all the new kdramas premiering this week but the first episode was quite good. The leads have very nice chemistry as well.
Oh, I hate that other branch of the family! Hate, hate, hate. But I love, love, love the students at their school.…
You have much patience to watch without subtitles! I tried adding subtitles based on my language's translation and holy moly, it took almost an entire day just to do half an episode. So I gave up because I was neglecting other duties.

Sunday = 1 episode
With the way the plotline is developing, I'm glad we don't have to wait all week for episodes.
