It's hilarious how opposite their wavelengths are from each other. He thinks he's impressing her while she's actually scared of him lol. The CGIs are pretty cringey to be honest but their bantery relationship is so good. I'm surprised neither Viki or Dramafever has picked this up since it's starring well known actors.
Where can I watch ep 26 with eng sub it’s not on Netflix ????♀️????
Episode 26 won't be shown until next Wednesday because Netflix started airing more scenes ahead of the live airing. So we have to wait for the live to catch up before we can watch it.
IT says she has a dual personality.... split? How come trailer only show 1 (short hair)...looks cute
More like dual identity. Another synopsis I came across described that she is actually from a wealthy family forced into an arranged marriage. But she ran away to attend this university hoping to find true love. She’s taken to heart something her grandad had taught her “If you find yourself at your ugliest and there is someone who still loves you, then that person is the one” So she disguised herself as “ugly” with the freckles and glasses. If you noticed in the trailer she also has long brown hair, that’s her true physical identity. I actually prefer her short hair and glasses. She looks cute.
It looks like a university setting so it seems like another school romance where two opposites meet, get involved in shenanigans, and fall in love with like-able side characters along the way.
Also since this is a web released drama, it's highly likely that all 24 episodes will be released to VIP members of Tencent on 8/8.
This is premiering on August 8 and it looks extremely cute. For some reason the lead's visuals remind me of Nam Joo Hyuk and Lee Sung Kyung in Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo.
I've had enough. Gao Vengo should only play stoic characters that barely speak for the rest of his career because…
"Dropped at 52 episodes and I don't care if the hamster becomes rabid, bites everyone, turning them into zombies and dies trying to pass the dragonscale armor after digesting, I don't care how this ends."
I would tune back in to watch if that happens hahaha. I experienced the same feelings you did and had decided to put in on hold around episode 40. But based on the critical comments from the latest developments I guess I can just go ahead and drop this instead of investing more time into it. Such a shame since I loved it so much in the beginning. I never read the novel and felt that this drama's plot has become so convoluted and filled with holes. Honestly I think it started going downhill once she left her sect after the competition.
Is it weird that I'm shipping Seo Ri with Yoo Chan than the male lead?? They are just so nice to look at !
No I do too. And mentally they’re the same age so that makes more sense. If anything it’s weird to think about a technically 17 year old falling for the 30 year old man.
So Yoo Chan and his friends totally reminds me of Lee Min Suk and his friends from High School King of Savvy. I feel like it's this writer's nod to her characters from there. She even got him eating a giant bag of popcorn lol. If anyone else has seen that drama you'll know what I'm talking about.
Watched it! I loved that they both danced to New Face in Knowing Bros. Cha Eun Woo was just too adorable and perfect.…
Yeah I didn't really pay attention to him before because I felt he was too pretty in an effeminate way. But I find him totally attractive from the manly vibe of his character here.

@ SASS Yeah at the beginning when they kept commenting on his looks, it seems almost as if he was bothered by it from his expression. I'd imagine he'll have to work really hard to show people his acting skills. I hope he'll turn out like Seo Kang Joon because ever since AYHT I think he's phenomenal whereas I thought he was also just a face at the beginning of his acting career.
Sorry for the shippers...Am I the only one who’s bored of the Feng Jiu and Dong Hua scenes? At first, I liked…
They were the only thing I came to dislike about this drama. I always want to fast forward through their scenes on rewatch. The human realm arc for them was so boring. And I still for the life of me can't understand why this "clinging on to uninterested men to make them love you" romance trope is so popular in c-drama. It makes the women look pathetic.
The TA said only a few bits of dialogue so far, but I'm already in love ????
Oh man it's going to be so interesting with this love line. It seems he fell in love at first sight seeing her face. I'm curious how this develops when he finds out she's plastic. He seems like a nice guy though and Kwak Dong Yeon looks extra fine here.
The airing schedule in China changed again, and went back to the previous 6 episodes a week, so the subbing schedule…
@azka123 And Netflix removed all their pre-schedule from their episodes list on the site. Unlike before when we can at least know what days each episode will be available.

Also his storyline in Ode to Joy 2 was also another good one. That’s where I first fell for him and started watching other dramas of his afterwards.

On another note, for those who've read the webtoon, how much is this Soo Ah going to make my blood boil?
