Title Legend of Fu Yao Spoiler
I guess if you take into consideration he was semi injured from the 3 slaps by the crazy princess a few days ago…
I meant Xuanyuan Min’s older brother. In the beginning when the PM led the revolt in the kingdom he killed the brother first before he got the the King’s bedchamber. That’s when he learned about the whole bloodline/water control thing and spared the King. Did no one question it afterwards? I thought royal bloodline was supposed to be so highly valued.

The further we go the more plot holes there will be I think. Like where did the PM even find the real Xuanyuan Min to show up at the wedding? Where was he all this time? I’m questioning the sect thing too since they were two important figures of that part of the story. By now I’m just watching for entertainment and lead couple’s chemistry.

Never saw the original, only the Korean and Japanese versions but I’m liking this much more. The characters act less cartoony than those versions. It’s cute and I’m really liking the actors, especially the leads. It seems they’ve sped up the falling for her a bit as he’s already crushing hard by the second ep.

Kind of disappointed at ep29 and ep30. The war scenes are not really well done. The story flow is also weird,…
I guess if you take into consideration he was semi injured from the 3 slaps by the crazy princess a few days ago it could explain away his weakened ability. Either that or the PM was low key super skilled in martial arts lol. I thought they’d kill him off after the “red wedding” but I guess the actor is still on payroll for more episodes later.

Also I’m still wondering why the PM was never prosecuted for killing off the elder Xuanyuan prince during the beginning eps. in the first place. Was that explained away somewhere and I missed it?

This looks very promising. Since this is a remake of such a popular story I’m sure at least one of the major subbing services will pick it up. Especially since Shen Yue’s last drama ALSB was on Viki and Netflix.

I've have completely fell in love with Wuji character, and think he is way better than Yehua. I mean Wuji and…
They remind me of Yang Guo and Xiao Long Nu from Return of the Condor Heroes doing the couple sword technique whenever they fight together lol. I really like that Fuyao knows exactly how to play along with Wuji's act whenever he has to put on a show to other people.

How is this drama doing in ratings because it’s soooooo good
It’s nearly reaching 1.0% in TV ratings now with 7/4 airing being 0.941%. It started off around 0.655%. Considering the TV version is 4 eps behind and stuck in the “red-headed step child” time slot, during World Cup, this is a very good sign.

Online viewings are already over 2 billions and it’s only little under 1/2 of the way through.

omg this sucks. i put this drama on hold to wait for them to finish dubbing it in vietnamese, and i just found…
@Linh, I’ve read that a local Vietnamese station has picked up the series to air soon. So it’ll definitely be dubbed. You can always rewatch it then once people upload the episodes online.

@Renaro Kopique Same! I used to love watching long tieng series back in the days. The recent ones are terrible. It sounds like they’re reading, no emotions whatsoever.

Yeah I like Vietnamese translations because it’s the closest in meaning to Chinese compared to English, but sometimes the subs go by so fast I get lost because I can’t read Viet as fluently as I can English lol.

Just saw the previews for ep 29-30, looks like it's going down!!! AHHHHH, cant wait!!! BTW any vietnamese watcher…
It’s because a streaming service in VN (their version of Viki or DramaFever) bought the exclusive rights to it so BiluTV had to stop their subbing. Unfortunately international viewers doesn’t have access to their episodes but there are some sites that take their subs and uploaded online. No dubs that I know of though so sorry you can’t watch anymore.

This was a very enjoyable watch throughout. The leads had great chemistry and I like Ethan’s character here much better than his role in Fated to Love You. The lead actress was pretty and I really like her character. She definitely stands up to the test of time for the image of an independent woman. The Korean version actress’s face made me so uncomfortable to watch. This is a little more real to life as far as the emotions and how characters dealt with the situations. The final few hours became a little of a drag but I guess they really had to throw all those issues out there to show us that this couple will make it to the end of their lives together.

It’s not that bad actually. Fuyao looked a little bit surprised he got stern but didn’t seem all that hurt…
Yeah. I love him but some times I just want to hit him really hard.

Seems like haram is now going to be the core of the drama, now that they've killed off pei yuan and jia chen.SO…
Keep watching. The harem arc is about to end soon. It's not the focus of this drama.

omg can we please stop with the acting treating Fu Yao badly just to protect her?his flirting with concubines…
Also that was only like at the last 10 minutes of episode 22. Everything before is definitely worth watching as there is a touching scene of Wuji caring for her when she was hurt.

It’s not that bad actually. Fuyao looked a little bit surprised he got stern but didn’t seem all that hurt by it. We’ll probably see in the next ep that he was purposely doing it to get a reaction out of Fuyao so that she would realize her feelings for him. He even got his mole to try and get it out of her in their conversation afterwards.

In the book, it's basically the Fu Yao fan club. ^_^
From book readers' comparisons and what's shown so far(ep 19-20) there has been major changes made to the love lines and who falls for Fuyao. Don't worry I don't think it will be the harem that the book was.

Wow... I’m so happy I pushed past the first 13-14 episodes bc the story actually skyrocketed right after. Thank…
They are filming a season 2 right now called Pillow Book focusing on Fengjiu and Donghua's story with the same actors.

I liked the drama, but I feel like the ending is kind of rushed. It's also super unclear.
I’ve noticed that with ep. 1 the iQiyi version was chopped up quite a bit while the one posted on YoYo Television’s YouTube had extra scenes that explained a lot more. I’m assuming this is the TV broadcast version. Perhaps once the finale airs on TV it’ll be more complete as well.
