It's all about having backers these days, especially if you're on the traffic star track like he is. All these past dramas' unfair treatments wouldn't have happened otherwise.

I mean, it's not like he could've predicted what they were going to do to his character during editing. PWX in the novel had an equal balance of power and romance. So it's probably best he takes a break from costume dramas for now until a proper script and an ethical crew come along.

I actually don't dislike him and find him amusing. Maybe it's because I can see he has a purpose in moving some plots forward whereas SRQ served no purpose other than to be annoying.

This was his last historical drama in storage. The next ones are all modern and no news yet when he'll film historical again. Cherish this as much as you can 🥲

I really love every single characters in this drama and the actors they casted. I even enjoy watching the mini villain arcs like the black snake guy or the boat owner.

MJTY Gong Ziyu is a super green flag baby. After that you should come over and watch Love's Rebellion's Ji Yang, he has a touch of all these characters combined while also different 😁
