Good thing is I don't have a need to watch a lot of dramas, only when there's actors or plots that I like so I rotate them and only pay when there's a drama I want to watch š Like with this drama, I'll buy a subscription when it premieres so the platform will note it as subs increase due to the drama's premiere.

Months ago when iqiyi posted this drama on its international site, the number of episodes listed was always 36. So if anything was cut, it was probably during filming or editing way earlier and not anything done recently due to review.

Although both are costume series, they're very much different. RFL is xuanhuan which deals with magic, fighting, and cultivation. TPR is court politics and palace intrigues. Plus both of the character set-ups in each drama are very different from each other. You won't be confused by them. As Youku and iQiyi are competing platforms, neither will hesitate to air dramas of the same actor at the same time, so the chances of these two premiering in July is very high. The only determining factor right now is that there is still no news of RFL passing its censorship trial yet, but there is a rumor that papers will be given next month. So we will see.

I don't see why not unless the director wants to have a different kind of voice tone to fit the character. These days it is highly preferred if actors can dub themselves. I'm hoping it's because they couldn't get any clear live audio and he's been too busy to do dubbing for the trailers so they had to use a voice actor. Hopefully he will be the dubber in the final product.
