I really like the way the leads’ reunion is unfolding. I’m glad the past is given in snippets and not a back to the past time jump where we have watch them fall in love for ten eps before we’re back in the present. Those kinds of storytelling wear on my patience lol. Crossing my fingers it doesn’t drag later and stays interesting.

If I remember correctly I think YSX was showing Dylan Wang how he should move his lips by using her fingers as lips to demonstrate in one of the LBFAD bts 😂 She and ZBB had a hot kiss scene in ROTLF that YOUKU had to go and delete 😒 It seems when the actresses can kiss, it ends up getting cut. Oh my that has to be one of the worst I’ve seen. ML was doing all the work and she was literally frozen. There’s a difference in being an innocent kisser versus a dead fish. Disagree, I went into this as not a BL fan and completed it as still not a BL fan. If anything, the character of Xie Wei was the main draw here. The drama got a high rating from me for its storytelling, music, overall cast, and the emotions it was able to elicit from me as a viewer.

No, it looks fake like Allen Ren’s kiss scenes. If you watch the kiss scene from Derailment, you’ll see. Supposedly, her mom is controlling and doesn’t allow her to do real kisses 🤷🏻♀️

If you watched it recently on iqiyi then it’s the deleted version. If you watched from unofficial sources then it’s uncut since they took the videos the week they were released. During broadcast, antis were taking screenshots of all the “ugly” camera angles and using them to diss the drama. A lot of them went viral on china’s social medias, including the shot of ZLH’s face when he hit the ground in ep.38(there were even viral videos on douyin comparing how the director made him look hitting the ground versus other actors in other dramas). ZLH’s Chinese fans had enough since they constantly have to deal with black fans attacking him, so they got really vocal in complaints with the drama’s official platforms until the drama went back and deleted that shot.
