Makes sense for them to leave those until the end to film now that the actors are well acquainted and more comfortable around each other. There were many risque scenes in the novel given that they have a healthy loving husband and wife relationship, so I'm glad the drama is trying to capture that aspect. I was worried when this was first announced with this writer, but based on all the reuters and reports from fans at the site, it seems they've been following pretty closely to the novel.

Idk… I feel like the majority who love SOKP love it for its completely satisfying and happy ending. Leading them blindly into watching AJTL seems a bit “unethical” 😄

Just binged this in 2 days and what an unexpected surprise. My first highly rated drama of 2024. I liked it so much that I need to revise the Viet AI subs so I can let my mom watch it, too. Anxin’s mama wins mother of the year. As infuriating as Ruohua’s mom was, her character development into a better mother was believable and well done.

CH did look extra puffy in his clothes lol. I think everyone fell for her because they were getting tired of all the bland pastel palettes from xianxia. I still think her costumes are nicer compared to all the current xianxias, but it's looking repetitive.

I liked how they separated it into its own extra episode and wasn't included as part of the ending. The way this was in its lone episode kind of mirrored how the two of them were performing the ceremony alone, which increased the intimate feel of it.

There is a big audience in the American market who is into the dark morally gray heroes. They would eat this show up if they knew about it.

Snow has fallen in Hengdian. It is said that if a drama encounters snowfall while filming in Hengdian, it's blessed to become a hit later based on some of the past dramas that have encountered snow while filming.

No wonder… she needs to start innovating new styles because I’m starting to feel like all the male leads look like they’ve been borrowing each other’s clothes lol. Good thing this drama is coming out first because some of ZLH’s costumes here look so similar to what DW is wearing in his drama.

I really like that they didn't change his core characteristics after he fell in love. It always annoys me so much when other dramas attempt dark characters and then just turn them into wimps once they fall in love. It's such a turn off.

She was his martial arts master, but he does affectionately call her Aunt lol. Little Dragon Girl is supposed to be super beautiful, youthful looking for her age, with a cold demeanor. I don't think any current actresses can surpass Carmen Lee's aura when it comes to playing Little Dragon Girl. Liu Yifei was the closest looks wise when she played that role, she was just too young then. If I had to choose from the current roster, I'd say Zhou Ye is probably the closest one I can picture, but her acting hasn't impressed me yet.

ZLH said he's expecting filming to complete by the first week of February, just before Lunar New Year.
