Yep, that's the next arc.

For me, romance isn't just the obvious hugs and kisses. I've been seeing their romance developing since the beginning of the drama. Getting to know each other, learning about each other's flaws and highlights... these have been happening with all their interactions. At the moment, JXN is also getting over her heartbreak with ZZ. It wouldn't make sense for the drama to show anymore than they're showing between her and XW right now.

When he was giving her his whole spew about living a calm life with peace, she thought back about how his life turned out as a result of entangling with her and it triggered her guilt. She's caught up in all the court politics again in this life, so I think she feared that she'll drag him down like she did the first life.

I prefer the character development of XW on screen as well. I felt pretty detached from him for most of my read and some of the stuff he did during the romance made me kind of scratch my head like is this supposed to be romantic or hot, because I just thought it was weird. I recommend reading The Grand Princess, which has better pacing, if you're in the mood for something of a familiar genre and theme(in case you're in a hangover after this drama ends). It's also rebirth, political intrigue, but both ML and FL retain their memories. Plus, it's also one of ZLH's currently filming dramas so you can easily apply his face to the main character lol.

Heat index rose back up to 8874 today and I saw a lot of cnetz say they held off watching the past couple of days because of the ZZ scenes. They're gearing up for WeiNing to begin tomorrow. BL, ZLH, Princess, and Xue Dingfei will be doing a livestream together after the new episodes air to promote.

Basically, we got a load of good scenes coming after they made us wait for 20+ episodes lol

I felt the novel was too long and meandering at times so I'm actually happy with the way the drama was able to condense it so well. It still kept the important essence while managing to make the pacing tight and interesting.

In the novel, you could consider Xue Dingfei as kind of the 4th because he was infatuated with her. Drama is only the 3 male leads.

I'm waiting for that red brush across her neck scene. They need to show it already🤪

ZLH did a livestream today to promote a yogurt drink brand. The host asked him to reenact the college students' parody of his famous scene. He didn't realized that they had someone come to do the commercial insert so he started doing it himself, only to notice the guy who was supposed to do it was in the back afterwards 😂😂

He's overdoing it with the drug he's taking in order to control his ptsd, plus all the running around he's been doing, add to it all the mental drama happening around him, his body is weakened so he caught a cold.

Cnetz said they did away with ZZ also being reborn. In the novel, his mother didn't die in the second life. The whole break up scene is different.
