Yeah don't worry. The events in episode 22 parallel the same events/timeline as in the novel so after that she and XW are back in the same atmosphere and what follows is a lead up to her and ZZ realizing why they can't work. I'm guessing that'll be another 1-2 episodes.

They only shared a hug during a sad moment of deciding they couldn't be together. After watching the "Like a Dream" MV, I just realized the drama took ZZ's line that he says to XN and gave it to XW. Interesting choice, but it works in XW's favor so I don't mind. The drama is doing their best to not let people fall too hard for ZZ lol.

The drama didn't say she was 18 back then did they? I don't remember that it did, unless I missed it. If it did, then it would make her statement post "rebirth" an inconsistency. She's only physically 18(although looks can't be helped because BL is almost 30 irl), but since she's retained her memories and life experiences of her past life, she's not mentally 18. So it makes sense for her to seem more mature.

In episode one, when she woke up, she said that she's returned to when she was 18.

He was around 7. The novel states that he's 27 at present. JXN started as 18 and turns 19 at one point in the novel.

Based on all the trailers and spoiler clips I've seen, the next 2 episodes are probably going to be the most romance you'll get out of that love line until it moves back to XW, so I'm not worried.

Just remind yourself that this is a reverse harem genre to get you by. They have to dedicate time to each of the love line. Her line with YL is done. Now, XN needs to progress in her line with ZZ for it to come to an end so XW can step onto the stage. Before then, it'll just be abrupt and OOC as she's been claiming to love him since this show started and they've only just started having more intimate scenes together. If anything, the drama has actually already carved out quite a bit of extra development for her and XW during this first half of the drama than the novel did. Their relationship is like a boiling kettle that slowly builds up steam until the whistle blows at its boiling point. You can watch the 3 MVs with spoiler scenes that might help. There's A LOT of good stuff on the way.
