I agree. It’s staying pretty close to the novel so far but done in a less cringy way than the novel.

No that’s a misunderstanding created by the story in order for FL to entangle with ML. The uncle of the girl FL’s bf cheated with is actually the driver of ML, but FL misunderstood that it was ML. The girl also made the bf believe ML was her uncle to make him think she was a rich heiress.

There’s also a few scenes where we have falling snow. So I think it makes sense if they are pushing this to the winter season.

If they follow the novel then there shouldn’t be any of that.

I’m about a third of the way through the novel. Based on the previews of the first 6 eps it looks like they’re following the story so far. The first life was very quickly played out in the novel, almost like a prologue, then it starts with the rebirth life right away and events in the first life was mentioned as flashbacks.

From the trailer and the Chinese title, it seems they’re going to make one of the lives a dream. I believe it’s the first and I’m hoping it’s the first. Sort of like she had a dream premonition and decided to change course of action. Otherwise, we’ll have another ending like Scent of Time…

Rising With the Wind is really good! Quality-wise and story-wise! With so many anticipated dramas premiering at the same time, you can just space them out and alternate watch to fill the gaps lol. And it's more fun to join in the discussions as dramas are airing hehe

Ohh I see it on US’s iQIYI app! I’m so glad because it means we get to watch with good subs. Praise drama gods and also my iQIYI membership is getting a good use lol.

Kind of random but I love the color grading iQIYI uses on a majority of their dramas including this one. It’s just so much more pleasing to the eyes.

I think the drama mislead you to think it was Xu Si, but it might be Gao Yi since he seems to be on some kind of revenge agenda.
