Nan Chu having wild dream about Lin Xiao after her after people in her dance troop asked her for details on his…
Yang Zhengang is the captain of this ship and based on the disappointing sound of Qi’s “Oh” in his text message when Luxiao denied anything was going on, he might become the co-captain lol.
Fun fact: ZLH learned how to play the violin for this role and the song that he was actually playing in the beginning of episode 12 was Twinkle Twinkle Little Star 😂
I missed the wechat scene. Going to have to rewatch.
Yeah, the subs didn't translate it as wechat. It just said she asked for his number. It's the scene when he gives her the book with notes. Connecting in wechats have more romantic significance in cdrama than just simply exchanging numbers lol.
Oh the previews for Eps. 13-14 are upping the drama factor, but god that Xu Zhiyi is unbearable 😠Eps. 11-12…
- Those parents have no one to blame but themselves. They're projecting their guilt onto external parties instead of acknowledging they played a part in their daughter's depression and death. They're going to be living with that for the rest of their lives.
- Luxiao’s speech about the after-high of saving someone can become an addictive feeling was deep.
- "Your left and right pecs are the same size today" 🤣
- Ah I'm loving the potential bromance between Jiang Ge and Lin Qi. I'm glad he was there to bring out Qi's potentials. He and his assistant give off such mafia and lackey vibes 😂 I hope that's about as far as they go with his crush on Nan Chu. I don't want any of that 3rd lead love triangle mess involved in this.
- Luxiao and Nan Chu a~, did your heads have to be so close just to apply medicine to a tiny little wound?? 😁
Ep 9-10 highlights: - Aw when they smiled at each other across the room. And him getting slightly flustered when she asked to connect on wechat. So cute.
- Poor Lin Qi, getting jerked around by that awful company.
- My mom knew someone whose daughter went through the same thing as that father and son did. She threatened to set herself on fire during a heated argument with her toxic husband and didn't expect that he would actually throw her the lighter. In a moment of insanity, she went through with it and torched herself. She cried in pain to her mom afterwards as she was lying on her deathbed in the hospital about how much she regretted it. You think they dramatize situations for drama's sake, but these things actually occur in real life.
- Enough people have commented on the daughter-parents storyline so I don't have anything else to add other than 😡
is anyone watching ZLH's other drama? The firefighter one. I know he's in a support role there, wasn't sure if…
I am, I like his role in it. He already made me cry once haha. He doesn't appear in every single episode, but when he does, he's pretty prominent. Below is the list of episodes he's supposed to have scenes in. Speaking of consecutive dramas, imagine if Tiger and Crane releases after SoKP 😂
I am, I like his role in it. He already made me cry once haha. He doesn't appear in every single episode, but…
Episode 4: First appearance (relatively many scenes, appearing with the male and female leads) Episode 5 (not much, one scene with the heroine, one scene with the boss) Episode 6 (mentioned once, does not appear) Episode 8 (violin performance segment) Episode 9 (continuing episode 8, Lin Qi helps his brother and sister-in-law for the first time) Episode 10 (mentioned, pitiful) Episode 13 (07 is both talented and arrogant) Episode 16 (07 officially helps brother and sister-in-law) Episode 19 (lonely, encountering an explosion) Episode 20 (Lin Qi and his father) Episode 24 (four people meet, 07 officially calls sister-in-law) Episode 25 (07 and 2nd ML officially become friends) Episode 30 (brief appearance, adorable) Episode 31 (another unexpected incident of bravery) Episode 32 (continued from episode 31, seriously injured) Episode 33 (lovable 07 helps brother takes his sister-in-law home to meet his parents) Episode 36 (07's career) Episode 40 (07 appears briefly worried about his brother, 07's future)
There's something about this drama, like it's slow but somehow I'm still compelled to keep watching. I haven't watched any of the previous firefighter dramas so I can't compare. I feel like it's definitely a slow burn romance where once they finally get together sparks will be flying. The camaraderie between the firefighters is nice, a lot of human study of life as a firefighter. I also love the big bro/lil bro relationship between Luxiao and Qi. Things do get more entertaining with the addition of the trainees and reality show filming by episode 6. On a side note, I love the realism of their looks. No smoothing skin filters.
After the disrespect of iqiyi towards zlh in his newest drama i am hoping youku does a little better job. I think…
I don't think it's iqiyi, but more like this specific production crew. Every drama of theirs have different production crew working on marketing and promotions, etc. Somebody must hate him in MJTY because they treat him like an unwanted stepchild. He has a "building sweeping" livestream with Sina today and there's no announcement at all coming from the official blog, but when the supporting cast went, they got that controversial poster announcing their live hours beforehand. In comparison, he only has a guest role in Bright Eyes(also on iqiyi) and they're already showing more love to him than MJTY did, with character posters and numerous hot search tags for his upcoming scenes. All that is to say I still prefer iqiyi's quality of production, but I hope youku does this drama justice as well.
