Ya Tou is very special. It is a general endearing calling for a girl, which actually has some teasing attitude in it. Very sweet every time when WJ called his Ya Tou.

Normally a senior or elderly calls his/her female junior/kids Ya Tou if they are close. If a man calls a unrelated women of the same generation or status Ya Tou, it has a very intimate feeling, pointing to a hint of love interest like here. However in his home empire, he is no longer the dominant one. He has to submit to his father and make compromises with all parties. So the loose outfit make him look more serious and even a bit vulnerable. The wardrobe department is indeed well thought.

Yes, this drama is getting better and better. Hope it go on with this good pace and quality and most importantly with a good ending please! No matter a happy one or sad one, i just want a proper and satisfying closure.

Agree! Personally i think the drunk talk scene is the best acting from Yang Mi and Ethan in this drama so far. Emotionally soaked in and so beautifully done. I was in tears.

And his outfit in Taiyuan, which shows his build, looks also better for me. The loose one in Tianquan is not bad, more scholarly, but somehow i still like the tighter one on him. ;-P looking forward to his possible new looks in other kingdoms.

Another reason: too much manipulation in Douban now. A lot of paid anti-fans are from the competitors of the actors/actresses/production team. Wait for a few months after the airing. Most of these dramas will get higher ratings after this period because those paid people are no longer interested in this, They are busy working on the next airing drama since the rating during the airing is considered as the ref data for investors. As for the tendency of foreign dramas getting higher rating, there is no direct conflict or competition for market sharing or funding, nobody bothers to spend money on the manipulation games. Hence more real ratings from audience. Same applied to most cdramas starring unknown/unpopular actresses/actors.

I have to agree. We can not look deeper into the plots. It is just an entertaining show after all. :-D

It’s good that you don’t have problems with her acting. Some actors/actresses can make a ridiculous story look convincing. Maybe that’s what i was expecting from her, because i also feel the love trio thing for the doc bros is kind of redundant here and i kept wondering, really? is this girl so attractive for you two?

It is the problem of the actress, i think. She is not a bad looking actress but the problem is with her acting skills. She did basically nothing but crying and that crying even did not make me feel.

And wasn’t Wuji told, to settle the chaos in this kingdom without bloodsheding? Now the whole court was killed... I was really like wth... Then after the Emperor talking with Wuji scene, I got it. The emperor actually wanted to weaken this kingdom without bloodsheding of their own people. Sigh... politics... so sorry for the people killed in this battle. And poor Yun Hen. He is now a king with an empty court, half-killed army and a worst queen. Yes, after the power play, Gao Puruo, the annoying sword dancing girl will be the queen of the new king. I bet the doc ran away from the throne because of this. lol
