You should really check out his interviews. He and LLD always talk sincerely and wisely in their interviews. You can really tell that they know what they want and what they are doing. CXX really plans for a long run. His target is like he could have the chance to play Gao Qi Qiang, the ML of Knockout, type of role when he is older.

If CXX wants to do a lot of dramas, I'm sure he could. In the C-dramaland, once one role gets popular, tons of scripts with the similar setting will send to that actor. Investors surely like guaranteed money. It is really up to the choice of the agent of the actor and his own will. CXX mentioned in his interview that he does not want to play the same type of role twice. I think a lot of actors/actress have the same wish but due to their contract, they could not easily say no, especially those traffic stars (Of course enough of them are totally happy with it too. Who don't like easy money). Having his own studio really gives him the freedom in the decision-making.

The cons side is that he has no strong team to do all the marketing, including to hurdle fans to fight (unfortunately and sadly it is part of the marketing nowadays in the C-Showbiz). But again, he seems not care about it too much. He always gives me the vibe of the older generation actors before the capitals were introduced into the showbiz. Some fans think it is unfair, he deserves more than what he has now, but he himself has total peace with it.

Think again, actually it is what he wants. He mentioned multiple times in his interviews that off the camera he wants to be away from the public and have his own life. With this level of popularity he could get enough scripts to choose from, meanwhile he could freely walk around, live as a normal people. I hope he can have the luck to live as he wants, and we have the chance to see him active on the screen till the age of 50 or even older.

So true. And he can adjust his acting to fit the makeup. At the very end of Goodbye My Princess, he plays the very old version of LCY. I was shocked to see, so convincing is his old looks. Under that make up, he was just 21 years old. Truly amazing. If nothing wrong happens, he could really reach some heights in his acting career in the future. The good thing is that from his interviews you can tell he clearly has a long term plan in his mind and has patience to go for it step by step. Wish him all good luck!

I read somewhere, Youku handled TSL and Guardian of the lands as combi contract. Most actors had to sign for both dramas to get the role. TSL was shot after the Guardian of the Lands but due to the Banning policy, it was aired first.

So called 60 eps cut to 40 eps due to censorship rumour is just fake. The drama was aimed to air on TV from the beginning. For TV airing in China, there is the no more than 40eps rule before this drama planning and shooting.

I saw comments like YQ2.0 changed too much, is not the ML anymore. Actually, YQ2.0 is the real ML, he was such a naughty and funny boy before the training. Yes, her eyes are so pretty and expressive. Actually, there are rumors about she and Zhang Xing Cheng are dating. ZXC was also a top student from the Central Academy of Drama and a good young actor. She and ZXC were the main roles of a well-known campus drama, My Huckleberry Friends, in 2017. Since then, their dating rumors appear from time to time. Photos of their travel in Thailand together were leaked just a few days ago. hahaha, anyway, ZXC and LLD looks good together in the real life, although I kind of like CXX and LLD together too. 😁
