Yes, Not only their line delivery is good, but also in the scenes without any lines they are amazing. Some of my favorite scenes are just CXX and LLD sitting next to each other, just looking at each other. No words but their eyes are talking. Shyness, awkwardness, a bit touched, a bit overwhelmed with the new feeling. The feeling of pull and drag in a relationship is there by just looking at each other. awww, I love them!

I've just found out that Cao Jie, who portrays Fei Chi, and Chen Xingxu were actually classmates/dormmates. It…
Yes. Chen Xing Xu, Li Lan Di, Cao Jie (Fei Chi) all graduate from the Central Academy of Drama. He Xuan Lin (Qing Kui), Cao Bo (Gu Hai Chao), Qin Tian Yu (Di Lan Jue) all graduate from the Beijing Film Academy. Furthermore, Qing Kui is a Phd graduate and Gu Hai Chao is a Master graduate. The funny part is Gu Hai Chao was the home class teacher/Instructor of Di Lan Jue during his school time. Hahaha. Imagine the stress for Di Lan Jue on site.

And it is well known that Chen Xing Xu and Li Lan Di were top students in their acting school. The saying are CXX ranked no. 1 in his major of his year and LLD ranked no. 2 in her year. You can even find online the video of LLD giving the graduation speech as the representative student.

Basically, the major of the cast are top students from the best acting schools in China. Very rare for a xianxia drama. Our luck and a treat for us.

Sorry for all the muscle show links. Could not help. Just too happy to find a xianxia drama whose male casts are all manly men instead of the usual flower boys.

Where does the interwebs get these things!!!Ok my mad crush on CXX just got 100000 times worse!
Hahaha, I could not help thinking, if there is an equivalent movie series like Marvel universe in China, CXX could fit the role of captain China right in with his aura and build.

Its really true if ur fan of wuxia or xianxia dramas this plot is nothing new. What really made this outstanding…
Not totally nothing new in my opinion. At least, it is the first xianxia drama I saw which depicts such beautiful and heartwarming sisters love. No bitch fighting between sisters because of some men. Finally...

Honestly speaking, I don't think LLD will go on the same track as ZLS. From her interview you can tell her aim is not a traffic star. She and Chen XingXu share more similar traits. They both start as child actors. They are both top graduates from the best acting school in China - the Central Academy of Drama. When they two have an interview together, you can tell how similar they are towards acting. If the question is acting related, they could go on and on, about how many layers of acting details that they need to put on in this character, how to evoke the emotion on site, etc. They two are really passionable about being an actor instead of being a star. When they were asked what is their plan after the project, they both answered rest and have a life. CXX said, if there is no life, no source for their acting. That's why they two always keep themselves in a low profile outside the promotion time. They would rather wait for an interesting role than repeat some similar characters. I really appreciate how LLD and CXX handle their career. After this drama, I'm sure they will have more opportunities with better scripts and production qualities. Happy for them!

hi, i have a question : who exactly are the fairy’s friends ?? ghosts ??
They are low level plants spirits, newly cultivated to have a human form from plants. Hence, they always go to sleep, since they could not stay in the human form for long.

Not plagiarized. the drama used the same composer for Royal Nirvana. He also did the music for Ever Night. In later episodes, he reused pieces of music scores from Ever Night as well.

What is related 😂Love You Seven Times has nothing related with our LBFAD, don't use LBFAD please.
Same writer, same universe, same production company, same make up/costume team. The author wrote a whole serial of web novels with a same universe set up. The other drama in this serial, which is rumored soon in the production, is Si Ming. The story is about XLHs Master and her dragon lover.

i feel like this is the perfect length. their time in the mortal world, etc. isn't too long or too short, unlike…
The writers did a great job. Totally 36 Episodes. First 9 eps is in Shui Yun Tian, the next 9 eps is in Cang Yan Hai, then the next 9 eps is in the Mortal world. Finally, the last 9 eps is about the conflicts and struggles between the different realms. Perfect pace!

The writer somehow loves to interconnect details. The kiss of the final battle obviously reflects the kiss in the ep1. The ending of DF showing up, when XLH walked away, echos with ep33, where DF turned away the moment XLH resurrected as Xishan Goddess. I'm actually satisfied with this showing up. Especially, XLH raised the bone bracelet under a flower crown. She said before she did not need any grand wedding. A simple one with flower crowns will do. So meaningful and romantic. I have no problem with this ending, but I do wish they could have just a few more minutes about their life afterwards. Maybe a moment of them happily travelling in the mortal world?

I enjoyed it a lot, but I feel like it should ended with Dongfang staying death. I think bringing him back to…
Well, DFQC will not die for sure because in the introduction of ep1, it is said he can not be killed, and they bring up this info repeatedly in the whole series for a reason. The second important point in the drama is that, if someone deliberately changes other's fate, he or she will die/turn into ashes. The third important line is everything is fated except love. The plot of the drama follows exactly these three points.

Chi Di Nv Zi saved kid Rong Hao from his death, so she is fated to die in the end. Rong Hao tried to drag the whole world down to save her, but in the very end he still failed. Love can change fate. The obsession of Rong Hao to CDNZ is not love.

XLH saved CH which leads to her inevitable fate of death. If she never met DF, they two never fell into love, her end was to turn into ashes together with Tai Sui. Now, DF changed her fate by sacrificing himself. According to Rule No2. he should die but with Rule No1, he can not be killed, he is back. DF is like a bug existence in this universe. So both XLH and DF are alive! All these thanks to Rule No 3., love changes fate. If DF and XLH does not love each other deeply, this could not happen. The ending hits the theme of this drama perfectly: love is strength. Love can change fate.

Highly recommend this reaction video on bilibili. It's English speaking. The reaction guy Madi gets the plot quickly and has empathy with both ML and FL. Really amazing. Unfortunately, due to the strict regulation of iQiYi, the streaming video of drama has to be dimmed in most episodes. But for a muti time rewatcher like me, it does not bother at all. :-D

Another favourite reaction video of mine is from the Colourful Brothers, five IT guys. They are well-known in China for their reaction videos of Word of Honor, which are now unfortunately no longer available online. Bilibili has only clips of their reactions. The full version is only available on the iQiYi platform. What I like about them is that they genuinely enjoyed the show and immersed themselves in the story. They laughed and cried with the characters with sometimes funny but kind of make sense ideas. Unfortunately, their reaction is of Chinese speaking only and without any Eng subs. But if you can understand Chinese, it is definitely a treat. PS: ep35 broke them.

I was very annoyed by her for the half of the series too, but then I thought she was not clueless but... she just…
I agree. She was not clueless. She just always thought the best of others. There are so many people who are calculating in the relationship (not just romantic one). For example, only if you treat me good, I will treat you good. XLH is different. She does not have this mindset. For her, there are always good in everybody and there is no pre-condition for her love. Think of it, that's exactly how DF falls for her. Only such extreme kindness type can melt the extreme heartless type like him. Polar attraction.

Loved the storyline. Every episode held my attention. The characters were all interesting. I really liked the…
I like that happy noisy voice, especially in the last few episodes, I missed her baby voice so much. I just wanted to hear that voice one more time after DFQC was back.

Finally, somebody pointed out, that it is not the actresses decision to use that voice. I don't get the hatred towards the actress online because of the voice. She is obviously capable of changing her voice to suit the roles. The voice work, as a production element, was under the supervision of the director and the producer. She is not the decision maker on this choice. She just presented the type of voice as the wish of the director.

Anyway the fun fact I noticed that in general the male audience received her voice a lot better than the female audience. They found her very cute. My favorite reaction videos are from the five colorful brothers. They regarded themselves as the father of XLH and constantly picked on the two potential son in laws, but they quickly chose Da Qiang after the sun rise scene except one, who stuck with CH to the end. Super funny.
