So if I understood correctly, Chang Heng's and his brother's father was called Dong. Dong was the one who dumped…
I was very interested in this story line. very curious about what happened in the ancient time. I thought it maybe reflected sth in the current story line. But in the end, nothing really was explained. :-D I hope they could have two more episodes to close this story line. Then a lot of things could make more sense. For example, the screen time for the story of the twin sisters with both origins is not trivial, but the story did not really go anywhere. They could just further explain the storyline of Yannv and Chonghua, in contrast with the story of Danyin's parents. Maybe show sth like there will be more this kind of cases in the future, which leads to the real peace between the moon tribe and Shui Yun Tian. If I was the writer, I might add a short scene in the last episode when Danyin walked with ChangHeng in the mortal world. On the street, they spotted one or two couples who obviously are from two sides, which reminded Danyin of his father. Very brief will do.

:-D I think the one dumped Yannv is Chong Hua, not Dong Jun.

If I understand right, the oldest immortals or ancestors of the three realm are Dong Jun, Yan Nv, Chong Hua and Xilan Goddess 1st generation. The offspring of Yannv and Chong Hua is the Moon tribe. The offspring of Dong Jun is Shui Yun Tian.

And my feeling is Yun Zhong Jun and Chang Heng are siblings with different mothers because in some dialogues with his brother, CH referred his mother as my mother, not our mother. Not confirmed but kind of explain the strange attitude of YZJ towards CH.

... Really, all the rumors about how wealthy her family is. It has nothing to do with the success of this drama.…
I actually did go back to check if I understand her words right. Unfortunately, I still get the same meaning. Maybe she did not express herself clearly, just wrote sth in an excitement after heard some news. I'm ok with it. But I'm not comfortable with the age discrimination afterwards. Maybe I'm just too old for this.

He has a girlfriend already. With how dramatic the Chinese entertainment is, it's better if he and she doesn't…
To be or Not To Be. 50% chance for both possibilities. Why the worry? Just enjoy their happiness. :-D

If they date, there is definitely no such unclear status. YSX will definitely not allow it to happen. :-D

Im all for the happy ending but does anyone have the explanation as to HOW he came back? I know this is based…
The bone bracelet is made from his heart blood. He, ChiDi and the evil Tai Sui are the only three true immortals, which means, as long as they have a bit of spiritual soul or physical parts left, i.e, blood here, they are not really dead, they can always be revived. It is just about how long. This concept was mentioned throughout the show. The intro at the beginning of ep1 said, DFQC has a golden body. They could not eliminate him. They could only break his soul and imprison him. Chidi came back because of the piece of soul Rong Hao kept. Tai Sui wanted to have the body of Chidi because she is one of the true immortals, he needed her body to match his soul, the cloud thing. Then after Chidi died, his only choice was DFQC. That's why XLH wanted to marry ChangHeng asap and ChangHeng agreed. They both wanted to save DF from Tai Sui.

It does not matter. He's an actor, not an idol. He can date or marry to whoever he likes as long as he does not neglect his job.

Guysssis it true that Esther's family contributed so much to the production team( Since they are moguls and all)?…
... Really, all the rumors about how wealthy her family is. It has nothing to do with the success of this drama. Iqiyi did not list it as their top anticipated drama, no promotion before the drama. They even did not have sponsors during the airing of the first half of the drama. It is not a high invested drama like other S+ dramas, i.e. LLTG, IS. U can clearly see the short of budget in the last few episodes. It is just a dark horse of the summer.

Even if Esther's family invested in the drama, what is the logic of Esther's family invested it= it is a good quality drama. I think the production team might be stunted at this conclusion.

Rumour says he had a long time relationship since Uni with one girl from the same uni, a commoner, not in the c-ent. Someone, who claimed to be his basketball pal, said their relationship was on and off for years, but it seems it came to an end before this drama. Another rumour source kind of confirmed this. It is said that his girlfriend followed him on site in all his previous drama shooting. But in LBFND, she never showed up. All the videos and images about his dating from paparazzi are all old materials. Nothing new since 2021, if I remember right. And his studio denied the girlfriend rumour this year. So I kind of tend to believe that he is currently single.

why is the where to watch section doesn't have the Iqiyi on it, since obvious this is an Iqiyi product
I asked this question before. Someone (Thanks) told me that Iqiyi is very strict about its link sharing and rights. To avoid any potential problems, it is purposely left out here.

Love love the fan meeting! ❤️❤️❤️ But kinda wondering where’s the actress who played Fairy Dayin?…
Anyway, it is just a rumor. Maybe there are some other reasons. Can only wish her good luck.

Love love the fan meeting! ❤️❤️❤️ But kinda wondering where’s the actress who played Fairy Dayin?…
The rumor I heard is that after the ZZH case, the industry is very sensitive about Japanese related things or person. It was mentioned that Danyin actress said or posted sth about her affection to Japan. As usual, somebody purposely dug out these things to try to bring the actress and even the whole drama down when there is sign that she is getting popular. Yes, The logic here is, as long as the actor or actress not leveling up, nobody cares about what he or she said. Once they are, they will find all kinds of materials with all kinds of interpretation to try to bring her or him down. That's how scary c-ent is. Hence, the production team made the decision to leave her out during the promotion. Sorry for her, but nowadays, it is a protection to both her and the drama.

wow soooo cool. i want it. they really should come up with a BGM album
Let's wait and see. Most popular cdramas will release an official OST album including the BGM, like Nirvana in fire, Ever Night 1, and Word of Honor. The Untamed released the BGM in a separate album. I hope LBFND could do the same

I'm six episodes in and really enjoying this so far, but have a few questions I hope someone can answer :)- where…
From some Chinese reading, Hai Shi is a Yao Shi, a city or underground/black market mainly for non-human beings. It holds trades and exchange of goods and infos among the three realms. Since on the surface, it is not a political power, three realms do not consider it as a thread, so they just let it be. It was set up with the help of XunFeng, so I think they have more residents from Cang Yang Hai than from the other two realms. Liu Fang Pavillion is where the head of Hai Shi is. Like referring US gov as white house.

WowVery enlighteningNow I understand why this drama so successful, the depth of e story based on love Sorry but…
The video uploader is a lecturer of Communication Science in Peking University. He likes to review the popular drama serials from the Sociology point of view. He was caught in surprise about how additive this drama is since he seldom watches any XianXia/fantasy dramas. He is totally intrigued by the characters of DFQC and XLH. Hence this video. It is very difficult to fully translate it. I just try to summarize it a bit.

At the first glance, people easily take the DFQC character as a trophy Ba Zong. Ba Zong in Chinese means dominant boss. The traditional Ba Zong was popular in the c-drama land or novel land. A rich, powerful man loves you, takes care of you, is cold to everyone except you. Such a dreamy figure for girls but it is in core a projection of a dominant father image in the relationship which is not equal and healthy. This kind of character is slowly outdated for modern women. The drama uses the cover of an outdated figure to present a how-to-change-a-BaZong story. The character development of DFQC is the process of him regaining emotion, or in his academic term, the process of socialization. The emotion here refers not only the romantic love but also the love to the family, friends, his people, and sympathy to strangers. He learns how to feel people. Especially towards the ending, the way he treats XLH is no longer as a traditional Ba Zong from the beginning. He is the new Ba Zong, or Anti-BaZong, with awareness of respecting XLH’s choice and independence.

As for XLH, he thinks she is the real strong woman character. She is a cute pie but never an obedient wife figure. She is like any normal girls, fangirling handsome guys, liking eating, and sleeping, etc. but she always holds high self-esteem. She is not afraid of defending herself under bullying. In ep13, she made the decision of switching the body without hesitation after CH suggested to kill her body to destroy DF and then revive her. On one side she did not want DF to die but on the other side is, that she felt humiliated by the way CH and RH treated her. No respect. Nothing. She fell for DF in the end because she finally realized, DF is the one who fully respects and recognizes her. This respect also made her stronger by taking the responsibility of consequence of their love.

Blabla, some further analysis of evolve relationship between DF and XLH.

At the last, he draws the conclusion: DFDQ and XLH is physically and mentally one in the end. You need to destroy them both at the same time to fully eliminate them. Otherwise, as long as one exists, the other will revive. I like this conclusion, explains well the logic of the last few episodes. 😊

Anyway, hope this rough explanation help.

I’m loving the fact that it’s the same voice dubber from LBFAD for Dylan.
From what I found out, the dubbing in the trailer is done by Waiwai, not the same as in the LBFAD.

why is there any increase in the number of dumb weak annoying female leads? How about more strong queen independent…
So you have to make yourself a queen image to be seen as a strong woman. Wow, when are we now? Year 2022. It so reminds me of one cdrama a few years ago led by YangMi, Legend of Fu Yao. FL had such queen vibes and attitude yet all the way she did everything with help from all kinds of men attracted by her. meeeh.... Sorry. Does not count strong female for me.

XLH is physically weak. Even till the end, she did not have much chance to show her magical power. Her firm belief of her stand and ability to share sympathy and love gains her love and respect from not only friends but also enemies. She did not gain those recognitions because some powerful men love her. It is all about herself. This is the real strong female image, independent with strong mind, no matter she appears feminine, tender or sexy or whatever.

PS: I love XLH best when she knows it's time for her to hold back. Yes, very high EQ. In Ep10, she looked around and immediately knelt down to blend in is the best. :-D

Finally, a drama that deserves the hype. I'm only on episode 28 but this is officially the best drama I've watched…
And there are no annoying SML or SFL in this drama. They are even adorable. So rare to see this kind of set up especially SFL. Too many chick fighting in those dramas. Sorry. Girls can do better!
