Which interview are you referring to?Do you have a link?
Thanks for the link.
But this has nothing about what @pam3008 mentioned in that post!
Where does the "stressful" "lonely" and "burnout" come from?
I very much want to read the source of that information.
Just doesn't feel like PEB would share those type of information after seeing all of her previous interviews.

They will roll with another actress if PEB doesnt agree for s2. Business is Business
No, I don't think so.
No PEB = No Season 2.
She is irreplaceable. As simple as that.

Remember that they waited her for one whole year to play WYW.
They could not find an alternative for Season 1, let alone Season 2.

Seems like the director, production team and actors of EAW are all rooting for S2... except Park Eun-bin.In her…

Underrated? Overrated? You can argue all day.
But you can't argue with numbers - another record breaking numbers from Netflix.

Reaching its highest weekly numbers (Aug 14-21) at 77.43 Million hours viewed in Netflix.
Rank #1 Non-English TV show (almost 3x higher than 2nd place).
And in fact, it has beaten all English shows including The Sandman as well.
So it is rank #1 in total combined English + Non-English TV shows!

It is now at #6 in Netflix ALL TIME most watched non-english TV shows within 28 days
at 341.46 Million hours viewed.
At the same time, the total viewership while ranked in weekly Top 10 has now reached
404.03 Million hours viewed.

These are very impressive numbers. Well done, EAW team!

I guess he has multiple personality.
Gosh, I really hope they don't pull this multiple personalities cheap out.
This would totally ruin the show for me.

Don’t give them advice on how to properly exchange differing opinions on a drama. The simpleminded responses…
Please don't judge me as this is exactly what you are doing.
You are making false assumptions about my thinking and reasoning, and false accusations. You can only resort to personal comments/insults instead of talking about the issue.
No this is not a good chat at all, sorry.

"Blunt ignorance" - see? more insults.
And there is no objective standard in movies and TV shows reviews.
There is no scientific measurements.
The only objective data is the TV ratings and Netflix viewship numbers, and EAW's numbers are through the roof.
Response or not it's your choice. Just stop the attacks and insults.

Honestly I'm liking this drama, I still have 4 episodes left to watch thanks to Netflix Italy, but I can't see…
Again, that's your opinion, and that's fine.
I don't think it is overhyped at all, and the attention it got is well deserved.
I have no interest in reading your review, as you have no interest in reading mine. We will never change each other's mind.
But never criticize or judge other people just because they rated it differently than you, or don't be on the high horse that your review is any more "objective" or better than others.

Look what you said: " if anyone actually think that this series meets the objective standard of most shows/films that reaches anything above an 8 rating (Imdb) they’re rather too young or coping."
Yes, that's attacking and insulting.
It is you who do not understand the so called "objective standard" is still a subjective judgement in the end.
You may call it bad writing, I can call it good execution.

Interesting that you brought up IMDB. This is what IMDB wrote about their ratings:
"but ultimately each individual is the arbiter of what is 'good' or 'bad' when it comes to judging the value of a work of art.

Think of ratings more as a guide than as an incontrovertible qualitative verdict. In the final analysis, opinions about the quality of movies and TV shows are SUBJECTIVE, and the IMDb rating is NO EXCEPTION."

Enough said.

you know what really gets on my nerves. I would love nothing more than to give AoS credit on Netflix, however,…
Yes, for most cases. Some VPN providers may not work well, you may have to do some research or get some feedback as to which VPN provider in Germany would work well with Netflix.
You simply enable VPN, pick the country, login into Netflix, and then you can watch all the dramas (and select the subtitles) available in that country. Subtitles and Dub selections are different in different countries. And you can turn it off anytime to watch Netflix in your own country.

You got it the wrong way, this whole thread is about this show being "overrated" and "overhyped", and @lily lac's claim that "the lack of critical thinking on this thread is mind boggling."
I don't care how you vote, but don't label us for rating the show highly.
I feel that it fully deserves a 10. I can predict that this show is going to earn some major awards.

Please note that what I wrote was in response to @lily lac and @Lo_ok attacking and insulting people who rated this show highly.
They said that we "lack critical thinking" and we are "simpleminded" and "too young" to rate it that way.
I never intended to discuss how I rated, and I never try to convince you to rate it the say as I do.

You are talking about a professional reviewer writing a detailed review for other people to read.
Here, we are talking about a rating we give for a particular drama from 1 to 10.
You are free to rate whichever way you like, I am free to rate whichever way I like.
I disagree that "consideration all of these things" is more "objective" than mine. Basically, you are just breaking it down to smaller subjective scores and then combine it into a total subjective score. Your detailed written review may be a more interesting read than mine, but the overall score is just as subjective as mine. Professional reviews are written with one thing in mind - an interesting read to the reader. For my review - this is not my objective.

But what I cannot tolerate is the arrogance and insults to other readers who rate it differently than theirs. This is what I am talking about here.

Watch this deleted scene and you will understand more:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QO0n-knWkes
The reason why they did not include the gift delete scene was that it did not fit the ending. That episode was when WYW put the letter on the wall reminding her what it meant to be a good lawyer. The director wanted that narrative to be remembered by the audience when the episode ended, instead of the joy of discovering the disposed gift.
To be honest, all scenes cost them money, time and effort (editing etc).
The director, more than all of us, would like to include as much as possible. There is always a reason why they were not used in the end.

If you use VPN + Netflix, then the view would be counted, though maybe counted under a different country (Whichever VPN server if you have selected).
I understand it is frustrating for them to be released at a delay (probably for German subtitles?) It is still way better than Disney+ for not releasing their k-drama in most non-Asian countries at all (e.g. Big Mouth).

I think these types of drama are better when we watch them while airing ,the suspense , the thrill and that wait…
Yes, because once the drama is done, there would bound to be spoiler.
You won't get the same suspense if you find out before hand who is the real BM.

For those of you who enjoyed this drama, while a potential season 2 is still speculation at this point one thing…
The webtoon version unfortunately was a big disappointment.
Not too sure about a musical version.... not as if I would ever get a chance to go to Korea to watch it though :) Also a bit difficult without subtitles....

You can rate show whichever way you link.
But don't start criticizing how other people rates, and don't ever start personal insults like "simpleminded" or "too young or coping".
For me, it's a 10. It's a subjective rating, if you think yours is more "objective" than mine, you are just kidding yourself.
