For me, I was surprised that I did not like it as much as I have expected from the A-list casts that I liked and the high ratings here. The problem is the multi-stories format, which I am not a fan of. With the multiple stories, there are some which I love, some which I don't quite enjoy, and some which I cannot stand. And it seems that the parts which I love went by too quickly, and those I don't like drag on and on.
Still the acting was greating and the OSTs were nice. But I did skip/fast forward the stories that I did not like.
Surprised that the ethics of her dating a student were never mentionned....
What ethics? Despite strict ban in some universities in US, many countries and many universities have no regulations about relationship between staff and students. For example, here in Canada, none of the universities ban such relationship, as far as I know.
The way Netflix forced LGBT+ aspects into the drama because it is a Netflix original. And that everyone clapped…
There are different types of "Netflix Original". Here, Netflix is mainly the distributor. The main production company is AStory for ENA channel. Netflix basically bought the world wide distribution right, and has probably not much say in story or contents.
The "real" Netflix production are drama series like "My Name", "Kingdom", "Sweet Home"... which are only streamed on Netflix and not aired by any TV stations. You can see their non-traditional number of episodes, and cliffhangers/multiple seasons in Kingdom and Sweet Home because of Netflix influence
The FL’s acting is amazing! I like this show by far but I would enjoy it way more if there were no romance at…
Actually, I think in this drama particularly, the romance part is very important. It also serve to educate the audience that autistics can fall in love and get married too. There are many who has this misconception that autistic people have no feelings and cannot fall in love.
I'm wondering which k-dramas have currently the most comments at MDL?
Your post got me interested in checking out the number of comments. And I can't figure out why this and Start-up have so many more comments than other dramas. For example, this has 4x as many comments as Extraordinary Attorney Woo, which IMHO, a better and much more interesting drama. And it does not correlate with the "number of watchers" either. Many highest ratings dramas have much less comments.
Is it more related to the younger audience of this web site? Or certain actor/actress's more active fans? Very interesting phenomenon.
Recent filler episodes worry me. The start was great, but the pace has slowed dramatically and there are far too many comedy elements, and romance for what I thought to be an action drama. I guess people would be happy if they are looking for a RomCom. The drop in ratings in Korea and Netflix streaming are not good signs as they try to drag this out to be a 30 episodes drama. The preview of the next episode looks like there could be more action and hopefully the pace can pick up.
Truly longing for the day they stop writing autistic people this badly... I get that they're trying to do something…
Maybe your opinion, but may autistic audience and families have spoken out stating how much they like this drama and how autistic character has been depicted.
An insightful meaning behind the hackberry tree & it’s bridge between YW & TSM. https://twitter.com/rainsketches/status/1550373360915611648?s=21&t=VHmvR-xBC2wXhpzcNeaOlAI…
Not sure how accurate this is, as there is no river/sea to be found around the tree in the village in the drama. It's on top of a hill!
Really enjoyed the first couple of episodes but I'm starting to struggle a bit now.Episodic dramas aren't really…
I have the exact opposite opinion. I don't like the drama circulating around one case like "Law School". All these different cases show how the WYW can learn and develop her skills. And it keeps the drama fresh and interesting. I don't think I would characterize it as "bite size stories", which is how I would describe "Our Blues". This is a legal drama, and legal cases and the characters are what make this drama work.
Maybe Red Sleeve? It’s a love story about a tsundere Crown Prince and his chaotic servant.
Red Sleeve? I was disappointed after high expectation from the high ratings here. It was good, but not that good. Overall, it was very slow and repetitive.
Haven't started watching this yet, not sure if I should after reading all these comments. But Oh Yeon Seo is a…
We all have our own opinions, but her resume speaks for itself. She has won numerous acting awards, including top actress in 2014 Korea Drama Awards for her role in Jang Bo-Ri is here (40.6% ratings top drama that year, and this is a Korea wide award, not one of those TV station's own award).
This year, she has been nominated for the Top Actress in the Blue Dragon Series Award for her role in Mad for Each Other (winner not yet announced). Her acting career spans 19 years and she is a popular actress in Korea. Her acting skills are recognized in the industry with her numerous awards and nominations.
It's easy for audience to write criticism from our couch, but please stop excessive insults when you have no idea whom you are talking about. Most of the comments here are about her character, not her acting skills
The way I was worried that the rumors of the change of FL in Part 2 will make the ratings go on a nose dive but…
Ratings in Korea has gone up slightly, but Netflix ranking has dropped. Just a bit concerned that the pace of this drama has slowed quite a bit from the first few episodes, and so not sure how it can keep this up for now a supposedly 30 episodes drama in total.
Haven't started watching this yet, not sure if I should after reading all these comments. But Oh Yeon Seo is a very good actress. Go watch Netflix's Mad for Each Other if you have not already done so. Sometimes, the character in the script is annoying, and not much the actor and actress can do.

We don't have numbers for Ep12 yet. We'd see if it could reverse the trend.
And many who watched the original series don't like the changes they made.

At least here, you won't get those "filler episodes" where there is no story progression at all.
Similar to EAW, it is subtitles only and does not have English dub

Best kdrama currently airing, and if they keep it up, could be the best in 2022.
