I am a true fan of this cast and crew's work. Just a general thought to ask why Korean actors and actresses are…
After catching up all the episodes, I now have no clue what you were talking about. KJW's English was very good! If you have problem understanding, I don't think she was the problem IMHO . And I'm from Canada.
Wow!I have not yet started “The Impossible Heir…” (I was waiting for the completion first)…And I am already…
Do note that 'Massive and undeniable popularity of “Alchemy of Souls,”' only applies here in MDL. Its numbers in Korean ratings and Netflix viewerships are only decent but not spectacular. No awards. Doubt that was career changing for LJW.
Good thing that filming for Season 3 was already done, cos Season 2 tanked badly at Netflix. Very poor viewership numbers. Only 2 weeks among top 10, then completely fell off the list.
A good watch. However, even though they gave us a "happy ending", I don't like it.Throughout most of the first…
I personally would have much preferred an ending showing that he was forgiven and didn't need to go to hell. He was allowed to reincarnate, as a son of his mother again (who has died at that time), and destined to meet with her reincarnated girlfriend in the future. This would still be a happy ending to me, without introducing time travel, and negating everything that has happened.
However, even though they gave us a "happy ending", I don't like it. Throughout most of the first 6 episodes, the stories were interesting as they were linked, happened with a purpose, and everything progressed in a linear manner. Then out of the blue, the 11th death was a time travel back in time - and he was allowed to choose suicide AGAIN after going through the first 10 deaths?
And then the ending was yet another time travel back in time. This sort of negated the first 6 episodes - would the serial killer still be caught since all those decisions/events with the Death's Game would not happen any more? Her girlfriend was still destined to die, unless he can do a "Marry my husband" or "Twinkling Watermelon" type history altering ability.
I personally really dislike this type of time travel (and this is not even the main plot device for this drama) as it just created a whole can of plot holes.
This show really got nothing going for it except the cast... sigh. Nothing is logical or makes sense, more holes…
Why are you still watching this "garbage"? It's been great for me so far for the first 10 EP, very enjoyable. Though too much filler for EP 11. To be honest, I can't think of any time travel drama which doesn't have sponge count plot holes.
Started watching this since this was the "highest rated drama" in MDL in 2023 according to the year end blog post. Watched 9 episodes, disappointed so far, and struggling to finish it. Maybe expectation was too high? Found Hyun Wook's acting/character irritating, and totally not convincing as it almost has no resemblance to his older character. A lot of fillers and childish behaviour. Guess aiming for younger audience? Hope it gets better in the second half, if I can finish this.
On ep 10 and DROPPED.I understand her bf is a huge asshole, but the way hes getting all the blame and her so called…
Goodbye! Guess no drama is universally liked by everyone. But Marry My Husband is now a Mega Hit in Prime Video, gaining international audience (as well as domestic) in droves. MMH is now #1 in many english speaking countries, including Australia and Canada, and #2 in USA, the largest market for Prime Video by far. Quite a feat for a drama with no english dub.
You know, I just gotta say this. To those who keeps bringing up Perfect Marriage Revenge as a comparison, first…
And Marry My Husband is becoming a Mega Hit in Prime Video. Remember that it has no english dub, but it has achieved #1 in Australia and Canada, and #2 in USA. That is an amazing achievement for a foreign language drama in english speaking countries. Definitely the most successful K-Drama for Prime. Even though Moving did well in Disney+, but it never got near this level of viewership.
The over all story and the second half is really good. There were moments that made me cry. Its good if it's seen…
I beg to differ, I think the chemistry of the main leads is great. The biggest flaw for me is stretching it to 16 episodes, and way too much flash back.
Criticising other people's accent in 2nd language is not cool.
Let see how well your accent in speaking Korean sound! LoL
If you check out Korean poster, FL is 2nd on the list.

This would not negate the workplace abuse/bullying accusation.
