But the point here is we are not discussing the novel, we are talking about the drama.
this is also true. However the XL scene is pivotal in the novel but I wish the drama would have shown more of TTJ's bad behavior before that. He's a bit too nice right now lol.
The script writer whitewashed TTJ’s character so much so that everything the FL has done so far seems like a…
agreed. He was randomly killing innocent people at the bridge scene to lure YXW out. He did a lot of crazy obsessive horrible things in between. This part of the drama frustrates me because they make him seem so innocent when he WAS NOT.
*Look left and right..Phew.. luckily no TTJ..you are safe..:D :D :D
I think in the drama they make it seem that way. But in the novel it's different. Like the bridge scene. When he got there he randomly started shooting people with arrows knowing it would lure LSS there. He had no regard for the innocent people. But in the drama they don't show that. But the XL scene is a pivotal moment and they had to show that. If the drama would have shown some of his behavior before the XL thing it would have made more sense i think. Although i see your point of view just from the drama standpoint. i think that if i had not read the novel first I would probably feel the same!
In the novel, while LSS is imprisoned after the nail incident he grew concerned that she would die and leave him. One of his men (Qi Mo) had forcefully married a woman and she hated him. After a while she calmed down and even had a child with him. Then one day while he was gone she killed herself and his entire family including her own child in a fire. After hearing this, TTJ began to feel uncertain when he thought about LSS. So he got the Fuci bracelet which is a magical weapon. He wears one and he put the other one on her. It can keep a person safe, but it will also kill her and him if she leaves him for more than 7 days. However, during the tower scene when she uses the alluring jade to switch her immortal spirit for his evil bone it can't keep her safe because the heavenly tribulation lightening will kill her.
*Look left and right..Phew.. luckily no TTJ..you are safe..:D :D :D
trust me he's worse than her and incredibly brutal. But that's the whole point of the mortal arc. They both do not understand romantic love or how to trust. By the end, they learn how to love each other properly and patiently. I wish they could show in the drama how obsessive and stifling his love is throughout the mortal arc. He's so much sweeter than in the novel, but i think what I love is how flawed both of them are. I hate perfect heroes and heroines that never do wrong. I love seeing them both make mistakes and bad choices. It makes their later growth so much better!
I kinda understand Bing Chang. Don't come at me with pitchforks, but I don't hate her. Unlike many other SFLs,…
She has her own but she found and kept an extra one which allowed her to get men to fall for her. TTJ was the only one without one. In a way....that extra thread was her undoing because she could never trust XL's true feelings for her.
Luo Yun Xi needs to put on some weight, he looks malnourished. Probably weight some 50 kgs, which is not healthy.
I think I had heard he was hospitalized right before filming and lost a lot of weight....however I definitely miss that baby fat he used to have from his Run Yu days!
