the novel has two chapters that is called bad ending. It's very heartbreaking. But after that are the final chapters which is the happy ending. Some people think it's two different endings but it's not.

Oh no....TTJ is still evil. The only difference is that he has the capacity to love. He just doesn't love the right way....you'll see what I mean. He does some terrible things later....you'll see it next week.

yes....he searches for her soul for 500 years. He will never stop loving her.

he will but he does some shady things in between. Trust me....he needs to lose the person he loves in order to understand true heartbreak.

She loves him when she tries to get him to fall in love with her. There are times when she hesitates what she has to do. For example the wedding veil he embroidered for her. Just because he loves her, he still doesn't stop doing bad things. At one point he uses a puppet spell on her and forces her to kill Xiao Lin. This is when she realizes that she has to remove the evil bone because he won't stop and she recognizes that. So it's not that she wants to betray him. She has to. He will destroy the world because his existence as devil god is literally nothing but resentment and evil. The devil god wants to end all life and basically destroy the world. If you noticed in the first episode he says he is not content or happy. For him, if all things end then it would be better. I understand he was treated unfairly but at the same time that does not excuse his actions and she knows he will not stop. He love power too much. Her love for him is genuine, however she has to ignore her feelings for the sake of the world.

no it had happy ending. The bad ending refers to the end of the cycle of karma. Something that started 10,000 years prior.

i would argue the novel has one ending which is Happy. The BE happens first for a specific reason. Then the happy ending comes. It's not an alternative storyline....it's a continuation of things that happen after the BE.

God I hope not! The novel itself is a happy ending. Plus they have 3 wedding scenes together with one being the devil wedding. And that happens after the sad ending in the novel. Unless the drama switches things around but it wouldn't make sense if they married them only to kill him.

the sheng kingdom marries her off to TTJ because he didn't want to send his daughter. So YBC tries her best to discredit YXW and competes with her. But don't worry, TTJ never falls for her although YXW believes that he likes her (in the novel). I have no idea how the drama will portray it though.

Haha! You're not wrong! He gets so turned on when she's violent with him and when he ties her up (in the novel). The guy is totally into BDSM....

in the novel she tries to get him but he only loves YXW, though he won't realize the depths of his feelings until she is gone. Don't get me wrong....he falls for her but he feels betrayed after the nails incident, so he struggles with loving her but not trusting her. His anger is deep until the tower scene. The sweet moments we see now won't last long. Prepare for angst!
