exactly! The dream arc was done superbly and i love how they showcased YBC true nature. I'm looking forward to watching TTJ falling in love and especially can't wait to see how he handles his jealousy with Xiao Lin. Although based on the broken heart on ep 21-22, I suspect that will be when he forces SuSu to kill him. Oh, the upcoming angst. The next two weeks are gonna be rough.

I loved this episode! I think the end of the dream was done better in the drama compared to the novel. Now the sweetness and torture is coming and i can't wait!!! How am I going to get through the next 3 day drought?

the novel does not have alternative endings. The BE happens for a specific reason (to finish the cycle of karma). But the novel itself is a very HE. The happy ending happens after the bad ending and is a few chapter long. It's very sweet!

In a way you can say they lived a whole life within that short span of time even though it wasn't their lives.

I will add that when they got dragged into the dream they are physically reliving the memories. So when you see MY and SJ being intimate it's happening for real. They have no control over their roles because that is what happened in the past. Once they are out of the dream they all remember it.

For sure! The drama for the most part has stayed fairly true to the novel. i don't think a lot of people understand that the bad ending is not the close of the novel but the ending of the cycle of karma (and it's tragic). But the novel itself is a happy ending. I can't wait to fully see their demon wedding costumes.

I have no idea how the end of the drama will unfold, but I will say in the novel the end was happy. People keep saying it has two endings but I will argue that there is only one. There is a bad ending (which in my opinion is to close the cycle of karma) but after that there are a few more chapters that is the happy ending. They are not two separate alternative endings. The novel ends very satisfyingly and after that there are a few epilogues.

It's so sad to hear people body shaming him. Yes he is thin but he is in my opinion gorgeous. The camera loves him and body shape just shouldn't matter. I hardly pay attention to his body when watching his dramas because his acting skills are so on point. He's very good at what he does.

I'm pretty sure it's edits. As per the novel the tower scene can't happen till after the nails. Plus there's tons of stuff that has to happen in between concerning her family and Xiao Lin. The airing schedule shows that the nail scene is on April 24 which covers ep 25-26, which in turn is 2 weeks away. So it will be that week that it should happen.

Exactly. I get that she's the heroine and for all intents and purposes she is great, but she also isn't perfect and her growth is just as good as his. But she is doing the best she can with the information she has been given.

In the novel TTJ was chosen to be MY because of his lack of emotions and he needed to understand the importance of keeping the one you love close with no regrets. LSS. was chosen because she was brave and the lesson for her was to not let love blind her to doing what is right and needs to be done.

That's what make this story so compelling! She has every right to hate him because he is a nasty piece of work. But when she sees what his mortal life is like before he became the devil god, it wasn't so black and white anymore. She literally gave the devil a heart to love, although he doesn't understand how to love yet. I love his growth in the end.
