aside from having a REALLY attractive guy in it this was way too chaste compared to most other bl.

the chemistry is low. the only truly good thing about this was Jang Eui Soo, the rest was mid to bad.

ahh i think maybe people had an issue with the lack of kissing? its funny when they wear matching pajamas at the end the wear an UNDERSHIRT under the pijama top 🫠 very pg series (the last ep is a bit boring)

for the ENTIRE time after Su Hyeon came back i was CONVINCED Jae Min liked him and not the Da On. Because aside from the fact that he chose to stay with Da On, he payed much more attention to Su Hyeon after the comeback. Personally i think it would've been better/cooler if it was so, after all i still think most signs pointed that way. A lot of parallels between how Su Hyeon acted with Da On because of his feelings are present im how Jae Min treated Su Hyeon. Anyway im almost at the end and really enjoyed it. I sympathized with Su Hyeon at first, but now he is losing me.

i think your right. Jae Min is probably incapable of love, only control and obsession, Su Hyeon i think genuinely felt love but the regrets of leaving and being manipulated turned it into a self serving obsession.

my god the rating fell since a few of days ago. this was around 8.3-8.4 when i last checked.

after watching 14eps i was underwhelmed. some call that section of the series one of the “good parts” along with some episodes twards the end. given ive been struggling with the FL’s acting and her character, i will be dropping it for good.

you guys who went through the rollercoaster this put you through (i could tell from comments), props to you!

im probably dropping it. i really like the second couple but i wont watch just for then since im not yet invested so i count myself lucky for an easy out

i put it on hold. im not big into modern chinese romance dramas, i prefer how koreans handle the modern setting. the only exception seems to be The First Frost which i loved. so it might be a me issue. i switched to costume dramas which i adore.

definitely not as good as the second series, but still a solid 7-8/10

i watched the prequel first, and am a bit sad with how little screentime the second couple has in this.

i can at least agree its not entirely her fault. but i think its also unreasonable to think its not at all.

after finishing it, i get what they’re trying to do with ji woo, and i can appreciate it even as its admittedly not my cup of tea. its a minor ding however, i loved this BL

ok its ridiculous how passive ji woo has become. what the fuck, he doesn nothing but sit there and maybe react. it was way better in the first season. he seemed more like someone interesting.

he is pissing me off so far. 2 eps left for a redemption.

seo joon might be one of my favorite characters ever
