They use voiceover in cdramas due to poor sound quality on some drama sets or locations. They can get much clearer audio if the do the voice recordings in a studio after filming. In PoJ Tian Xiwei did her own voice recording in the studio. Zhang Linghe did most of his voice recording but he had a cold or sinus problems for some parts of the drama and a voice actor did those scenes when he didn’t have time.
If you’re still bothered by the idea of voice recordings being done separately or by another person, you can go to wiki.d-addicts.com to look up specific cdramas and see if the actors in the drama did their own voice recordings. That website is also called dramawiki and it has a ton of useful information on each individual cdrama.
ETA— I don’t understand why cdrama makeup would bother you since they heavily use makeup in kdramas too. There’s just not a current controversy about makeup in kdramas right now but they use it too.

I feel sad for people when I see them call Ci Min and Qian a couple. He was her captor and she was his victim. He was obsessed with her but that’s not love. Love cares for others more than for self. Deng Kai is a handsome and charismatic actor. He gave an excellent performance in PoJ. I wonder if people would be defending Ci Min’s actions if the role was played by someone downright unattractive?

If you look at the mdl PoJ Episode Guide where individual episodes are rated you can see that the ratings for the last few episodes dropped to 9.1 and finally to 9.0 for the last episode. Raters are agreeing that the quality of the last few episodes dropped but so far they don’t agree with you that the rating should be below 9.0.
