They do set the war zone thing up earlier but in throw away lines that are easy to miss and forget with everything…
I thought the war zone they set up in episode 1 was Argan.

Tbh I gave early on this drama, but can someone tell me where exactly is this propaganda scene? Like a timestamp?Additionally…
The news scene in question starts in episode 12 with 6:17 minutes left in the drama. It ends with 5:50 min left in the drama. That’s a total of 27 SECONDS of a 13 hour and 33 minute drama that is causing the uproar.

I loved this show (10/10 for me) because the acting was outstanding, the mystery aspect kept me thinking about possible resolutions, and the romantic kissing scenes were 15/10. WTPR hooked me in episode 1 and the cliffhangers kept me anxiously looking forward to the next episode. I was a little disappointed in the last 2 episodes but not enough to lower my rating even though some of the screenwriters‘s plot choices kept me saying WHY? For instance:

1. In episode 1 he settled a hostage crisis with Argan over the phone while he was in his spokesperson office in Korea. Why did he then choose to go to Argan in person in episode 12 as a negotiator? Why not use the phone? I get that he thought he was punishing himself by leaving Heejoo for a while but wouldn’t he be punishing Heejoo more if he got killed there?

2. Why didn’t he change his family name (Baek) when he was choosing a new name for himself? His family caused so much heartache and pain. Why didn’t he change his new name to Kim Yu-yeon or Lee Yu- yeon or almost anything besides Baek?

3. Why didn’t the screenwriter choose to include scenes like Yu-yeon’s proposal to Heejoo or their new wedding ceremony?

4. Did Baek Yu-yeon become such an adrenaline junkie that he chose his new profession as a negotiator where he has to leave Heejoo without notice and without telling her where he is? I thought Heejoo was his world and reason for living but apparently he can easily disappear and reappear on his own terms as a hostage negotiator without discussing anything beforehand with his wife.

Title Love Scout
is this a slice of life drama or is it focused more on the romance? what are your guesses based on the already…
No it’s an office romance between a female CEO and a male assistant.

I completely despise noble idiocy tropes but WTPR handled it as well as possible. At first I was angry with fake Saeon leaving Heejoo so he could punish himself. wtf? Then I realized that although he always tried to appear to be a perfect individual he was actually just a flawed individual who was traumatized by his upbringing.

Heejoo going into Argan’s war zone to drag his ass back home also made the overused noble idiocy trope more palatable to me. Heejoo was no longer the meek young woman that he married, but instead was a woman willing to speak up for herself in order to get what she wanted. She realized that ultimately she had to fight for her own happiness and not let others trample over her.

It was explained in Episode 11. He saw real Sa Eon causing a ruckus inside fake Sa Eon's office building because…
I completely agree with your last sentence. Many of the recent questions on MDL about this drama lead me to believe some people are not watching the episodes before asking for answers. It spoils the mystery and thriller aspects of the drama if people want all the answers upfront before watching. Viewers should pay attention to the drama details and have patience with the unfolding of the plot. WTPR is a mystery-thriller-romance. All three genres of this drama fit together nicely and are what makes this drama so interesting to watch.

Some of these reviews honestly make me think media literacy is dead.... yikes
WTPR is not a light drama. It’s a drama that you can’t fwd through or skip scenes. Viewers have to pay attention to details and think. By the number of confused or lost people commenting I assume they weren’t paying enough attention. Some people are blaming the drama and not their own viewing habits.

Hee Joo half ass running like her life doesn’t depend on it! Girl run faster!! 🙄🤣
Starving for 4 days and then having to escape wearing socks but no shoes makes it a bit difficult to run at top speed.

And then let him whisper something in your ear…
True. Logic is way down the list of what I look for in a kdrama. WTPR is the best kdrama that I’ve watched in a long time and I don’t even care that it’s not completely logical.

Heejoo was never deaf. She faked selective mutism (not being able to talk) because her mother told her to.

It’s best to wait and watch the last 2 episodes together. I’m so very sorry that I didn’t wait.

The screenwriter and director KNEW that viewers would speculate about the whisper at the end of episode 11. Don’t blame the people here for making wild predictions. It just shows how involved people are with WTPR.

anybody knows how long is gone ? .... i think is days or few weeks
Most of the drama took place in June. In the final scene we see Heejoo’s Christmas tree so about 6 months have passed.

Beside HHJ imaginations ,fans also have wild imaginations going on.😂😂😂Please keep your theories down…
Why shouldn’t viewers expect much from the last episode of a drama?

I don’t buy the theory that Heejoo’s husband ran away after hearing that he was the indirect cause of Heejoo’s car accident 20 years ago. He was only a 15 year old kid back then. He didn’t know about the Baek family at that point and it was patriarch Baek who ordered the accident. Heejoo already knew about the accident’s cause and never blamed her husband for the crazy stuff the Baeks did. If fake Saeon just left the country without discussing everything with Heejoo first then I’m greatly disappointed.

So our theory was right! 👏🏻 That last look from Sa Eon was that of guilt 💀 What is up with this family…
But Heejoo and In-A already found out about who caused the accident 20 years ago. Heejoo would never be angry with her husband about something patriarch Baek did. If Heejoo’s Saeon ran away from his beloved due to that reason he’s dumber than I thought. (btw I absolutely HATE the noble idiocy trope in dramas.)

We’ve known for many episodes who fake Saeon’s father was. Any guesses as to who his mother is?

And why was Mr Hong (Heejoo’s stepdad) acting so weird that In-A yelled at him to take charge or she would? (I still wonder the actual reason WHY he made a deal with grandpa Baek after he found out WHO was ultimately responsible for the three kids car wreck 20 years ago.)

Besides wishing for a happy ending for our couple I’m hoping some long open plot holes will finally be filled in episode 12.
