Unnecessary comments ..if you don’t like the drama then move on to something else that you like!
MDL is based on the opinions and ratings of viewers. Some people like this drama and some people don’t. If every comment was positive it would be misleading to potential viewers. People read the MDL comments to see the pros and cons of a drama. In the end people have to make their own choice whether or not to watch a drama and then decide for themselves if they like it or not.
i’m no expert in how hospitals work but am i the only one who finds is it very odd that surgeons/anesthesiologist…
I’m not sure how many episodes you’ve watched so far but this drama is not to be taken too seriously. It’s based on a webtoon. Any resemblance to real life is purely coincidencidental.
The Trama Code: Heroes on Call is the type of drama where you fasten your seat belt, sit back and just enjoy the ride. And imo it’s a fun ride for all 8 episodes. If you start examining this drama for logic and facts you’ll be disappointed.
The fact that I spoke to my friend last night to translate since she's Korean and she said the same thing is pissing…
I’m sorry that this is off topic, but I noticed from your profile page that you haven’t rated WTPR. A few days ago it was mentioned here that the overall MDL rating of a drama is not based on the reviews. Instead it is based on each individual user’s rating and the episodes ratings.
Since you’ve watched all 12 episodes of the drama but still have a 0.0 in the rating slot, does MDL count your 0.0 rating in the 8.1 overall rating of the drama? I’m just curious how the MDL ratings system works when people have completed a drama but leave a 0.0 in the rating slot.
The whole premise at the start is Hee Joo is trying to manipulate her way out of a loveless marriage using her…
In the kdrama subreddit the top comments about episodes 11 & 12 were about their disappointment that Heejoo’s husband didn’t just run over Saeon when he popped up in the middle of the road holding a rifle. Users were annoyed that he parked the car, got out and let crazy Saeon whisper in his ear. 😂😂
Does anyone know how a drama’s genre labels are chosen on MDL? After I read the synopsis and watched the 1st episode I knew that WTPR was a makjang. Is it being too optimistic to believe that if the genre labels were more accurate maybe commenters here would have different expectations about the plot of a drama and the acting?
Like why criticize a makjang drama for having an OTT plot because that’s actually a primary characteristic of a makjang? Complaints about WTPR being too unrealistic don’t make sense if you realize that it’s a makjang.
I guess so it’s now top 10 in 47 countries on Netflix last week I think it was only 3 countries. I was surprised…
WTPR was at the top of the charts in 33 countries by the second week after its release in late November. Unfortunately when Squid Game 2 was released on December 26 the popularity of WTPR started to decline. That was before the final episode aired.
I haven’t seen any articles about the episode 12 newscast scene controversy in any of the large western media outlets. They’re not bringing the subject up in reviews or articles. A few days ago someone here posted a link to a Times magazine glowing review of WTPR and they didn’t even hint about the controversy.
If you go to the kdrama subreddit the newscast scene is only mentioned in passing by just a small number of users. Since the kdrama subreddit has strict rules about only discussing the drama, no spam and no bashing actors or users the controversy that has rocked MDL is nonexistent there. It’s a completely different vibe there.
I thought she didn't press charges for that and thus that wasn't why he was in jail. I'd need to rewatch it to…
Park DoJae was initially arrested for being an accomplice to threatening the spokesperson. (episode 10) That was in June before the spokesperson chose to disappear.
In episode 12 (6 months later because of the Christmas tree) Heejoo visited PDJ in jail so he served at least 6 months.
I forgot that Heejoo didn’t want to press charges for being pushed off the cliff. Is it possible that PDJ only served time for the lesser charge of being an accomplice to to threatening the spokesperson?
Does anyone know how long Park Do Jae was in jail for attempting to murder Heejoo? Afterall he pushed her off of the cliff
I know there was about a 6 months time skip between the time wicked Saeon whispered into Heejoo’s husband’s ear to the Christmas tree scenes, but was there another time skip somewhere in episode 12?
I miss the time before January 4th when a person could open this page for WTPR and find only comments about the kdrama. There was no fighting among users in the comments. Users were polite to one another. There were no political or religious beliefs on this page. There were no outside influences. This page was solely about discussing the kdrama When the Phone Rings.
Let’s these kids have fun ,anyway they are naive to think MBC cares for international fan website its been 5…
I’m totally against the drama ratings on any site being manipulated by any group of people with an agenda. MDL is a drama site, not a forum to air political or religious viewpoints. Dramas should be evaluated based on plot, acting and perhaps music.
I’ve noticed that ratings vary by site and that’s due to the users. For instance MDL ratings for a particular drama are always lower than the Viki ratings for the same drama. (I watch some cdramas and many viewers use Douban ratings to evaluate cdramas.) No single site has a more accurate rating system than another site.
Personally I consider a rating above 8 on MDL as indicating a drama is at least worth checking out. But sometimes I’ve found that I like a drama that has been lower rated and sometimes I dislike a highly rated drama. It all comes down to my personal taste and what mood I’m in.
The best way to know if a drama is worth watching is to go ahead and try it yourself. Form your own opinion.
Going through my block list like "who can I remove to make room..."
It’s unfortunate that the block function doesn’t work in the MDL app. Very recently I blocked a few trolls but I can still see all of their nonsense being spewed over and over in the comments. I guess I should just use the desktop version until things calm down…
I didn't hate the last episode and I'm legit trying to understand the dislike. What would you have done differently?…
But him disappearing from Heejoo caused her even more trauma. She had already dealt with all of the trauma from the car accident. She coped with a cold husband for 3 years. She handled being kidnapped multiple times. Just when she thought their marriage and life together would work out he disappeared.
He told Heejoo twice during the drama that she had a bad habit of underestimating herself, but he severely underestimated her too. She was much smarter and stronger than he treated her.
I guess we may have to disagree about whether the reason for Yu-yeon’s disappearance makes sense within the context of what happened within the drama.
