This movie surprised me with how cute it was! It did a really good job of mixing and balancing between genuine horror and romance! And I loved it when she asked him for an orgasm!! DID NOT see that coming!!!! HA!!!

The only thing I remember about this drama is how everyone was always crying. You could play a drinking game and be completely hammered by the end of each episode if you took a shot every time someone cried. smh This drama started out well enough but never really got anywhere meaningful or interesting. And I was kind of pissed at how under-utilized Taecyeon was. That boy is WAY TOO FINE to be under-utilized... or clothed. :)

I WANT A REFUND ON AT LEAST 8 HOURS OF MY LIFE. Thank you.
Hahaha! I totally felt the same way about this drama! Can someone turn back the hands of time and give me those hours back!?

Hey there! When you said you hadn't found a good action drama to watch, I was just about to recommend Queen Inhyun's Man! But I see you're already watching it. :) What do you think of it so far?

I know, right??? Haha! Now I've talked it up too much and you're going to have really high expectations.... I'm a little nervous now. Well, I stand by everything I've said about it. It's a darn good drama. Funny, smart and sexy.

Is that my problem?? I suppose that could be it, huh? You know another drama I hated that everyone loves? The Greatest Love. I had to stop watching eight or nine episodes in because it made me so mad. And usually if I go that far, I suck it up and finish. But I couldn't even do it. Weak women and men who talk down to/say horrible things to women are the top two things I can't tolerate in a drama, and that drama had both. At least Secret Garden had a BAMF female lead (and Oska, LOVED him!!!!!). Anyway, I digress.

I'm almost ready to pick King 2 Hearts back up. I'm going to finish QIHM first though. :)

I started watching this drama and really liked it, but I can't find it streaming anywhere past episode five. So sad. :-(

Also, Hyun Bin is a jerk-face in Kim Sam Soon, too. lol! But he's not a stalker and he doesn't talk down to her like he did in Secret Garden, so I could handle him. :) And Sam Soon is SUCH A BAMF that it doesn't even matter. hahaha! She doesn't take sh*t from him or anyone! For me, she's the best female character in any drama I've seen.

I completely agree with you about the apparent legitimacy of Go Eun-Chan's dude-ness. haha! She did such a good job that about half-way through the series, I googled the actress to see what she looked like as a real woman! And I'm glad you brought up You're Beautiful. I couldn't watch that drama because the lead girl was SOOOO obviously a girl (and dumb). It just made me feel like everyone was dumb. I couldn't ignore it.

On that note, I feel like such an odd duck sometimes because some dramas that everyone else seem to love, I don't care for at all. You're Beautiful and Secret Garden are perfect examples. Hyun Bin was such a jerk-face stalker in that drama and I could not let it go. Yes his acting was PHENOMENAL, but the romance angle of it didn't grab me.

With that, I personally can't recommend Skip Beat. I watched 2 or 3 eps and lost interest. But it seems popular enough. *shrugs*

Wooo! The last post made it through!!

OK, also, I looked at your drama list and I am TRIPPING OUT that you haven't watched Kim Sam Soon yet!! How can this beeee??? haha!! There are only a few dramas that I will watch more than once, and Coffee Prince and Kim Sam Soon are the only dramas that I've watched more than TWICE. I want to own those dramas at some point. Kim Sam Soon is like a staple drama. Plus, it got me into Clazziquai/Clazzi, which has become one of my favorite musicians, period. OK, I just had to get that out. :)

Also, can we gush a little about how surprisingly awesome Protect the Boss was? I really loved that drama because of Ji Sung! He played the hell out of that role! There are so many hilarious moments of him that STILL make me giggle when I think about it.

Uggghhh I just wrote a whole post to you and the session "timed out" Grrrr!! *throws things* Let's try this again.

Yes, I have watched a ton of dramas. I didn't realize it until I joined this site!!... Not sure how I feel about that. haha!

Thanks for the suggestions! The only Taiwanese drama I've tried watching is Skip Beat (because I want to lick Choi Siwon's face.... did I say that out loud!?). I generally stay away from Taiwanese dramas though because I don't particularly enjoy the sound of Chinese languages. But if the drama is good I can overcome that petty bit.

And dude, Coffee Prince is my heart. That was the very first Korean drama I watched, and boy did it set the bar high!! I have this theory that Gong Yoo is not really hot, and that he's only hot in Coffee Prince. It'll be good to see him in a new drama for comparisons sake! I'll have to check it out!

I love Lee Sun Gyun with undying affection, but I sure hated this drama. This drama made me seriously question women's lib in Korea. Pretty much all the men in this drama are sexist, arrogant idiots.

This drama is LOVE LOVE LOVE! I adore everything about it!! It's soooooo romantic and swoony. The lead characters are so bold and unwavering, and I find that absolutely refreshing! The female lead especially just jumps head first into things and never looks back. And the Ji Hyun Woo does a wonderful job in this role and balancing between the traditional and modern worlds. LOVE it!

Great series, each episode makes you want to know what's going to happen next. Honestly, that ending was just…
Oh the ending for that drama was THE WORST!! hahaha!!

You know what JUST BARELY saved this drama for me? Kim Ba Eul. I freakin' LOVED that character! SO DANG CUTE!…
EXACTLY!!! I wanted to smack her so hard!! hahaha! I supposed we were meant to see her situation as "romantic" and following her "passion." But I just felt like it was unreasonable and silly. Plus--and I'm probably thinking too deeply about this--how old was he when he came back from the Army? Like 21!? For real, he's going to be in a long-term, serious relationship with someone almost 10 years older than him??? As arrogant and rich as he was?? She's stupid.

Usually when you watch a drama, it's pretty clear who the lead girl is going to end up with within the first 20 minutes or so of the drama. But sooometimes, soooometimes, I hope the drama will prove me wrong. I was really hoping for that with this drama. Ah well.

And stop it!! You're seriously making me want to re-watch all the Ba-Wool moments!! haha....>.>... I wonder if there's a You Tube video of them....<.<.... lol!
On Hard to Say I Love You Jun 5, 2012
I agree with the reviewer Mika_Neechan. This drama had great potential considering the story set-up and all the fabulous actors/actresses involved. But something--and I don't remember what exactly because it's been a while since I watched it--happened within the first five episodes or so and this drama totally fell off track for me. I thought it was going in one direction when it did a 180 and went back past me, leaving me real confused (and not in the good way). It's too bad.
THIS drama. LOVE. It became one of my top favorites just a few episodes in. It was done SO, so well. I love all of the political espionage mixed with revenge and a love story. And can I just say, when he said, "Aishiteru"... I literally fell out of my chair. NOT "suki desu," NOT even "daisuke desu." He freakin' said AISHITERU!!!!! THAT NEVER HAPPENS!!! That's my number one beef with Japanese dramas, when they translate "suki/daisuki" as "love." It's NOT THE SAME!! So that alone made this drama a winner for me. :)

But you KNEW they weren't going to end up together, right?? It's a Japanese drama! There has to be some unrequited love/pain! haha!! It was perfect! She had done too many wrong things for them to walk off into the sunset together. It had to end that way. :)

He DOES do that in a split second!! I swear I'll look up and think, "Whoa whoa whoa! When did you become all noble, smart and handsome!?" haha! It's gooooood. *nods approvingly*

And yup yup! Jang Geun Suk is the lead. I didn't watch all of You're Beautiful, but I imagine he pretty much plays the same emo rocker character (and still dresses like he's homeless). It was a cute, light-hearted drama. Add it to your list! You're going to be a busy bee in the coming weeks! haha. Feel free to recommend something for me as well. I've got a couple on the back burner now, but if you feel passionately about some drama I haven't seen, hit me up!

Well, see, in the drama, you're right, it was subbed as "Ba Wool." But up there in the info box for the characters, it's "Ba Eul." So I went with that. And I don't remember that scene but you sure make me want to go and find it!! And I kinda wished I'd dropped it after I finally got to the end and she chose the friggin' high school boy. Ick. Tama Negi was WAY hotter/better.
