Erm..... *nervous look*.... Yeah. I've been to two concerts. And they were both really, really awesome. I went to a concert in Harajuku in 2008 when I went to Japan for vacation for the first time (they had just released the World World World album). And I went to the Nano Mugen Festival last year around this time while I was living there. They are AMAZING live!! You HAVE to try and go someday. Just DO IT man. :) Both times I ordered the tickets online.
And eewww! Hyun Bin actually had some type of surgery??? Eww ew ew! I thought he just lost a bunch of weight or something. Yeah, I liked the old version better. He looks weird to me now. :(
And no problemo on the suggestions! Once you finally get to them, let me know how you like them! Queen InHyun has its funny moments. It's the more light-hearted drama compared to K2H. K2H is much more dramatic and serious. But still super good!

YES!!! ZOMG! Episode 16 the scene where he crawls into her lap and lays in the fetal position and cries!!!!!!!!! I'm DYING right now. So beautiful! Such great acting!!! *calms down*
OK. *takes deep breaths*
I don't know what My Girl is. It's just called "My Girl"? Is it a Kdrama? What is it about?

Dude, that's my gripe with Heartstrings! I felt deceived into watching it. It seemed like it was going to be much better than it was. Blegh.
And no worries! Yes, you're right, I'm going to do whatever the f*ck I want to do. So don't stress. HA!!! I'm kidding!!! That sounded so harsh! hahaha!! Really though, I want to finish King2Hearts and QIHM before I watch another drama. So I won't be watching Gumiho at least until QIHM is finished uploading/being subbed. :) Two eps left!!! I really hope it ends nicely. One of my pet-peeves is when a drama is super good all the way through, and then trips and falls RIGHT at the finish line. Ahhh I hate that. And it happens way more often than it should. smh
I think I'm going to watch K2H today! I'm in the mood for it and I have some time to kill. Maybe I'll finish it...I'm going to try not to though since I have five eps left... Must. Not. Binge.

Oh my gosh, Superman! *shakes head* I cannot stand the Superman series. Really? Dude puts on glasses and no one knows Clark Kent is Superman??? Really???
I liked Sh*tty Hunter at first two. But I think as soon as he got to Seoul, and that first scene where they showed him in hot pink skinny pants looking like a kpop idol, I started to think it was stupid. He went from Jungle Boy Mowgli to a member of SHinee in a matter of seconds. That was the first moment I rolled my eyes... Then the eye-rolling never stopped.
Right now I'm balancing between Queen InHyun's Man and King2Hearts. Not finished with either, but I like both A LOT. Depending on how it ends, Queen InHyun might break my Top Five Favs. We'll see though. How about you?

*sings* Keshiteeeeeeee, riraito shiteeeeeeeee! Haha! GREAT song. It doesn't get old, does it? The SolFa album was actually the one that made me fall in love with them. xoxo
OK, phew!!! I was so confused and sad!! "How could she give Kim Sam Soon a 0?!?!?" I almost cried dude. hahaha!! I'm kidding!... sort of. >.> And I agree!! Hyun Bin was more attractive back then, huh? Why does he look so skinny in Secret Garden?? I didn't like that.
OK, OK!! So right now I'm watching two dramas. Queen InHyun's man and King 2 Hearts. Both are REALLY good!! Queen InHyun has really bold and smart lead characters. Plus, it's so romantic and I am eating it up. haha! King 2 Hearts is more political heavy, but still very interesting and has a good love story. So I would suggest watching either of those if you're in a drama mood. :)
I know everyone loves this drama, but I didn't care for it. Hyun Bin was too much of an egotistical, evil jerk…
Thank you for explaining your opinion to me clearly. It's good to hear someone's perspective with reasons as to why they feel a certain way. Especially when it's different from mine. :)
I can understand what you're saying as far as why Hyun Bin's character is that way. And it does soften my feelings a bit. But I still can't say I'd re-watch the drama and try to look at him differently. Like I mentioned before though, the acting was superb, and there were moments I liked.
So I guess I can understand why others like it a little better, at least. Thanks again. :)

Yeah, don't rush to watch that one. I try not to say anything when I look at people's "Plan to Watch" list. Because, you know, people have to decide for themselves and I don't want to influence them. THAT BEING SAID, (lol) I am going to warn you about one more. I felt like Heartstrings was a royal waste of my time. I would like to turn back the hands of time to get those hours back. Soooo, don't rush to that one either. hahaha!
Yaaaay!! I'm getting excited about re-watching Gumiho! It's so dang cute!! It would be one of my favorite dramas except for two issues. We'll talk about them later. :)
And hey, any selection is impressive! At least there's a proven market for dramas where you are. If I ever want to physically hold a drama, I have to buy it. -_-* Aaaaand they're expensive.
Not even comparing it to the Japanese drama that precedes it (which is one of my favorite dramas of all-time), I still didn't like this very much. It had moments that were sexy or funny, but overall it was kind of weak. And I don't know why we needed to break into song and dance in a couple scenes. Is this a musical now?? Lame.

Hi there! Don't run and hide!! Come back!! Come back!! haha! Nice to meet another Ajikan fan!! That band rocks my socks dude. There was a time when all I listened to was their music. What's your favorite song or album? My favorite album has got to be Kimi Tsunagi Five M. So many songs on that album I love. But all of their albums are fantastic to me. I can't wait for their new one to come out this summer during Nano Mugen!
Hmm, looking at your profile, I agree with you. It seems we have some things in common as far as drama taste and some not at all. Why did you give Kim Sam Soon a "0"?? Please tell me! Because that is probably my all-time favorite drama (and Coffee Prince).
But I see you liked some other dramas I like. But I'm nervous to recommend anything to you right away. I need to know why you disliked Sam Soon so much first! haha! :)

I totally agree. For an action drama, it was pretty stale. And I didn't care for Lee Minho's character. How can you have such strong conviction over something that didn't even really involve you, but be a total waffler (did I make that word up?) over the girl you like? It doesn't match! You can't have conviction for one thing and be completely in denial about something in the same breath. It's stupid. It was a stupid drama. haha!

The ending for City Hunter totally sucks, right?? I nicknamed it "Sh*tty Hunter." hahaha! :)
I really, really hated this drama. Hated it. I've watched a lot of dramas, and this is the only one I feel this negatively about.

Hahaha! Thanks for essentially letting me know that I should probably stay away from Hindi dramas! I'm sure there are exceptions to the rule though, like you said.
You mentioning "little child of a girl" reminded me of the lead character in Paradise Farm. That girl. *shakes head* I think it's on your "plan to watch" list, so I'm not going to say much, but I wanted to punch that girl in the face. Particularly in one scene dealing with a very sexy-faced man, she did something super childish. UGH. Yeah, agreed. Those kinds of girls in dramas = DISLIKE.
And yes, I remember those PTB moments, too!! hahaha!! Sigh. Such a wonderful drama. *starry eyed*
I'm totally going to re-watch Gumiho with you, so let me know when you start it. I thought of a scene that I love the other day. I wanna watch it again. :)
And how lucky that you have dramas at your local library! Totally jealous!
I know everyone loves this drama, but I didn't care for it. Hyun Bin was too much of an egotistical, evil jerk…
I don't need to specify a particular scene, because he does it all throughout the drama! Wasn't he constantly telling her she wasn't good enough to date him? And that he couldn't understand why he would like a woman "like her" considering who he is? All of those things are considered talking down to someone. He was always disrespecting her because of her social status compared to his. Telling her she wasn't good enough for him, but he liked her anyway. And also disrespecting her because no matter how many times she told him to leave her alone, he would still stalk her. I just don't find that kinda stuff attractive.
But anyway, yah, my taste is different from lots of people's. :) I have a hard time tolerating emotionally abusive men in Korean dramas, but some people are much more forgiving than me and even find that romantic. So ah well. :)
Ditto to everything in your last post. haha! Completely agree!
I think one of my favorite moments in the drama was when Ji Sung and Kang Hee were trying to convince his dad to let them marry. And his dad kept bringing up how he had cancer! LOL!! Do you remember? The way Ji Sung delivered his lines and how his face slowly changed from being sincere to angry that his dad kept bringing it up was THE BEST acting moment, like, ever. And then the dad explodes and yells and Ji Sung totally backs off. hahaha! Oh man.
We need to stop, because I'm already thinking I want to re-watch Gumiho with you so we can ramble about it and I'll remember it. I might add PTB to the list afterward! This will be the summer of re-runs. haha!

Hahaha!! You do not talk too much. I'm enjoying our conversation! I honestly don't talk much about my drama hobby to my other friends as I'm the only one who watches them. So this is nice for me. :)
Not to beat a dead horse, and I do agree with you--clearly drama and reality are different things. However, there are a lot of young and impressionable girls out there who unfortunately aren't as smart as us and can't distinguish reality from fantasy. So sometimes I just worry for those girls.
But yes, not all things are as they appear. Which--and I know I've said this 1,000 times already--is why I need a strong heroine. There's a difference between a jerk giving the lead girl sh*t and her giving it right back, versus a girl who is weak and clings to him because she's dumb OR lacks confidence.
I guess the point in all this is, IT DEPENDS. lol!! What a profound realization. -_-
Such a talented actor, and his voice is amazing! I fell in love with him and his character in Coffee Prince. He has this humble swagger and confidence about him that's SO attractive.
And eewww! Hyun Bin actually had some type of surgery??? Eww ew ew! I thought he just lost a bunch of weight or something. Yeah, I liked the old version better. He looks weird to me now. :(
