Even tho I love jiho and feels super bad for him cuz he is getting bullied by bong su but you have to understand…
I know! I know! And that is what I commented a few weeks back - like I know and love the fact that ML and FL have this love story, and they will come together eventually. It's the oldest tale we know in K-dramaland.
And I have seen such similar tropes in so many other dramas - and I never wavered. Like I was always team ML-FL, in all those dramas, even if I understood/sympathized with the SML/SFL or felt bad for them. Like they were always a good friend and I liked that but I never thought they could hold a candle to the flame of love of ML-FL.
But this time - oh God, Idk what it is?? Like I know the SML - Ji-Ho has no chance and he himself will sacrifice his love possibly to bring the ML/FL together, but it is the actor's portrayal of the SML that is very very strong - his expressions are pure puppy love that's hurt and he is doing it SO SO SO well, that even I - almost a decade long lover of such trope, who has seen this thing many times but was unaffected by the SML - IS getting affected by this guy,
It is one of those characters that literally has blurred the line with acting and reality - so I can't help but be sad for the SML - which is in a way a praise for the acting and talent of the actor - CHA KANG YOON.
This is my first drama of his - and AM so gonna watch more of him, very soon! Really great actor ππ»ππ»ππ»
Anime fans - did anyone else also feel Sukuna vibes, when evil spirit got "the body" in Ep 7?
The actor is superb - I love how he can switch from innocent to badass in his facial expressions. And looks like evil spirit will also have a sad story (the war flashback). Damn - no wonder the ratings are going up = this is very well layered story/drama! β¨
Guys - I cannot bear what is happening to Ji-Ho. I think this is one of the most pitiful SML roles I have seen. Like we all know what's the fate of SML, and I honestly have felt bad for them but not at this level. This is just too much - like the actor's face is so realistic, that it's making me want to shake the FL and make her see him. Even though I love the ML. Argghhhhh!
Why are some characters different in S2 from S1? Am not sure - hence mentioning it here - but looks like Jenna's father, the mistress/English teacher, Hye-In's father look different than S1, so am guessing they are different actors?
ep10 - FL disappointed meher lack of respect, empathy and consideration for the Prince was a total let down. For…
I am not sure - this is just my assumption: I think the book she read and the events happening now are different. She understands the book version of him that she read, but the man and every other character has changed due to the new way FL behaves /act/thinks.
And also as general, us as humans - we also at times are mistaken in understanding a person, and their intention. So maybe the FL can be given the same benefit of doubt. In the end she does realize that she was harsh and jumped to conclusions, and therefore apologised - which I feel was a good way of showing how their bond is strong and growing.
Doesn't Kang Ji-Su look a bit like the actor "Gong Myung"?
Okay - I have not officially started this show, but just randomly landed on it, and was skipping a bit just to get the vibe of the show. Suddenly stopped when I reached 15-18 minutes looking at the girl - and I racked my brains for a good 1-2 minutes on thinking who she looked like and BAM - my mind goes: she looks like the KIM RAM U actor!! π
one of those actors who can pull off any role/character - giving it due justice and respect, taking care of all sentiments. Given a chance, am sure he will do well - he has executed diverse roles so far, so I will be happy to see him in any new role.
Ji-Ho & Gyeon-U's bromance/forced skinship is just = ππ₯β€οΈβπ₯ ππ₯β€οΈβπ₯ ππ₯β€οΈβπ₯ They have the best scenes, and Ji-Ho is definitely my most fav character! Literally brightens up your day watching him in action in this drama π
I have not seen the Canadian version, but I am excited to see this drama. On a personal level, this is an interesting dilemma - "on the topic of assisted death" - am curious to see how this drama answers it.
Totally agree! π Park Seong Ah definitely gives off strong Kotoko Aihara vibes β head over heels, super persistent,…
And even the acting is so spot on. I mentioned it in an earlier comment, that this could very well be seen as over-the-top and cringey, but then the actresses did it in a manner that it is appealing, cute and fun! β¨
Rewatching S2 - and I saw a scene that makes sense now, a connection between player 222 and 456. Easter Egg in…
In Ep 6, S2: When the Mingle game's first round happened - the call is for "10" players. Last moment Shaman is pulled in by Hyun Ju. So it is GiHun's team (4) + HyunJu's team (4) + 1 Shaman. Shaman inside the room is going on and says they should all be thankful to her for saving their lives.
AND THEN - she looks at Player 222's baby bump and then looks at Player 456 and says " You have lived longer than you were meant to live and now I finally see why. You are here for a reason, You were drawn by destiny" - and looks back at Player 222.
I mean even in the earlier game - GiHun chose to take Player 222 instead of Player 096. Oddly enough in S3 - during the jump rope game, it was the same player 096 who pushed people off as they were able to land on the safe side and replying to GiHun's question of what he is doing as "I am simply playing the game" #literal-chills.
Anyways - after the ending that happened after S3 - the prophecy of the Shaman does seem to make sense.
Yes, me too π She is so sweet in the webtoon. But let see how this is going.
I guess they do plan to change it - just finished watching Ep 8. Looks like when the FL was thinking that since all roles are changing - like of the female lead then even the villain can change. Maybe they will make Eun Ae the villainess.
The leads are such an interesting pair. Correct me if am wrong, but I think this is the first time LDW and LSK are being paired? I am excited for this, and honestly would be such a treat for the eyes - these two are such good-looking people and super talented making each role their own πβπ»π

Also - how was Second Shot at Love? Worth the watch?

Adding in first comment under spoiler tag.
