Ep 11 - The panelists are all surprised on how Dong-Ho put his foot down and shared he was leaning towards one person. I think a major part of this surprise has been cause in all seasons so far - very few guys have been of one-track mind like Theo and Dong Ho of this season.
Activating my delulu mode: Idk how these men are IRL - but I truly wish to meet someone like Theo and Dong Ho. Such green flags! ❤️
Its been long - but yes, no complaints as long as it is getting done. The Korean version will always be special, but I also liked the Japanese one (given it had one of my absolute favs - SakaKen). The Japanese one continued the story further - though that also left some things hanging.
I hope the Korean version explores further - and does complete the story (at least should complete in one language :P) ... Also Cause I cannot wait till 2036 for Season 3 LOL
It's 4 episodes per week, that's why. Volume 1 is ep 1-4
Ohhh - well that's a relief. At least we'll have all the episodes at one go. I get a bit alarmed these days when there are things mentioned like Part 1, Season 1, Volume 1 😂 😂 😂 Too long a wait for your fav dramas!
I am assuming it is - "As You Stood By" and the actor is "Jang Seung Jo"
All the drama names are clubbed together and hyperlinked with the actor/actresses names that I could not make it out. But I think this drama is NOT mentioned but only the poster is there (--_--) Had to do a reverse search on the latest projects of the actor, and since it has Lee Moo Saeng as well, am guessing this is the one.
Also "Trigger" - starring Kim Nam Gil and Kim Young Kwang. Again poster is there not the mention of drama or hyperlinks to it. (Poster: https://i.mydramalist.com/PxKvd0_2f.png)
Why does the teaser say "Volume 1: March 7"? I see 16 episodes so should be one complete season, or are their other stories as well (possibly like a Reply Series?)
Sadly I think he wants her back and it wasn’t for her mom se Yeong would want him as well
yes, not directly - but indirectly. like she will be an aquaintance. And of course her mother would not confess to her sins, so therefore Se Yeong as a way of redemption will reveal it all but then if she does she'll also be held responsible and be punished by law.
But yeah - these are just theories, let's see how it all pans out.
in my opinion the school bullying arc is major changed from novel so far (albeit it's also in the novel) very…
I have already read the comments and I know that the ending of the novel is bittersweet. I hope they change it in the drama and make it a truly happy ending story where the main leads are alive and happy for a LONG time. ♥️♥️♥️
I think am so invested in this drama that I'll need to read the novel after this. ♥️
Sadly I think he wants her back and it wasn’t for her mom se Yeong would want him as well
This is far-fetched theory... [1] Se Yeong and her mother might plot something that will harm Hana fataly (maybe an accident). But somehow even Se Yeong would come under the line of fire - and therefore Ji Seok and Jin Goo both will jump in to save the two women.
Ji Seok would save Se Yeong at the cost of his life. This would make Se Yeong regret everything and confess to her own and her mother's plans - the final reveal showdown.
Since she was also party to the scheme - along with her mother she will also go to jail. But her term would shorter (?) or even if it isn't she'll be moving to another place and start a new life, away from her mother and will remember Ji Seok as the love of her life, but try to move on.
[2] Case 2 - same scenario but Ji Seok will survive. But since he at that point would have done a lot to harm the Chairwoman's group and therefore indirectly hurting Hana - he would as a penance maybe go away to start a new life OR stay with his siblings.
Se Yeong due to the accident and save by Goo siblings - would feel guilty, confess it all - and then go to prison, any way. Now on her release she and Ji Seok could come together - because we know Hana would forgive them etc - but i just want them to start their respective new lives.
these are just random theories that I had in mind :D given the way the drama is indicating - most likely Se Young would become pregnant or something with Ji Seok's child -but will try to pass it off as Jin Goo's (because maybe she'll realise he's drifting towards Hana and as a last attempt to save their marriage?)
These are just thoughts and theories flyign around my head :P

Thank you so much for taking time to share all the details. Your comment and others' helped me understand that the novel has more depth - and is longer, due to the format is probably able to add more desciption and flesh out the characters in more details.
Drama always be an abridged version - but I guess even with the limited time - they did do well. The direction was off still, but at least in terms of story plot points they have done well.
Sadly I think he wants her back and it wasn’t for her mom se Yeong would want him as well
I agree with that to a degree, that the way her mother's influenced her has shaped her to be the person she is. But we cannot fully attribute her faults to her mother - I mean she's lived away from the shadow of her mother. She's a grown up woman and on her own has the tendency to be evil. Which is why I would feel weird if she gets a retribution arc.
Not sure whether Ji Seok will remain alive till the end (I am guessing he will make some sacrifice for Hana or Se Yeong) - but in any case I do not want them to be together - Se Yeong should either pay for her crimes (jail for sometime) or move to another country and start a new life.

Oh my! it would have been percieved badly in drama. Cause they would have to do this and then immediately show the scene when they confess their issues and come closer.
Because novel has more depth and could space it well, drama would have had to squish it.
I can already see many comments where viewers are not getting how they came close so fast, and found the romance to be abrupt. So I can imagine had they done it exactly like the novel - it would have been very confusing.
It makes more sense - thanks again for sharing the novel's version and perspective. :)

Yes, just wish it could have been executed better. It seemed a bit jittery - like all along I knew it was a ploy to bring the main leads together but then it felt a bit off. The novel also had it in the same manner?
The school bully scene also existed in the novel, but it was slightly changed. I didn't like it there either.…
Hmm okay - then I guess they could have executed it better. It felt a bit abrupt - though yes, like you mentioned the purpose was for them to confess their issues and become closer.
Ep 15-16: The school bullying case seemed deliberately convoluted. To drive a bit of friction between our main leads only for them to come together stronger. It felt a bit meh as they could have just worked together to find the truth and come together in the process.
But then I'll chose to overlook it (another one) for the Ep 17 💋 (though even there why did they have to bring in the flashbacks in a perfectly set up intimate moment - directors what's wrong?)
P.S.: Novel Readers - was the school bullying scene there in the novel? Was it changed/necessary? Just curious to know cause it felt a bit off in terms of execution and catalyst to plot.

Se Young does want him, in spite of the mother's dislike of him. I wonder why they broke up in the first place - or rather come together? Probably cause of the feeling of being alone and out of place.
Not that anyone is inherently evil, I would like to believe that Se Yeong isn't either - but even without her mother's push - she does carry out acts of evil and manipulation which is why she is not a right character in my books - even for Ji Seok. Ji Seok might have become a grey character and would stoop to any level to meet his revenge goal - but he comes from a place of goodness at least that is what I feel of what has been shown so far.
i cant say whats going to happen with those two in the end , but if there is a moment he has to take an important…
If he does not chose Ha Na (and I fear he might not cause jin Goo would be there or at least that is what Ji Seok will think) - I think everything will go downhill for him.
