14 years? Wow - that is incredible, I would love to discuss dramas with you. I am close - 9-10 years of drama watching, and yes, just like you I joined MDL to have healthy discussions - no matter whats the opinion towards dramas/movies/artists.
While the overall experience is positive, I have lately had a fair share of bad ones as well. I personally would like to ignore it but I cannot ignore if someone is being rude/personally attacking. Not sure if the moderators reprimand them once reported - which is why I felt like commenting back to your OP, that hey - we are not alone :)
I honestly hope that people are able to realise and understand that any person disliking a drama does not undermine or erase their fondness for it, OR vice-versa.
Anyways - glad to connect, and yes, 2025 has just started so lets look forward to more dramas/movies and find our favorites, while others become another name in the watchlist (simple)! 😊

I had an expectation mismatch (I went into the drama thinking it would be a suspense thriller with some romance, but apparently it was opposite). And I can relate that it makes you not enjoy it overall cause of that mismatch.
I really hope you do not get any negative comment - but its okay to answer those who are trying to understand. But again you don't need to justify - it is your opinion and you are entitled to it. (I was on that end with WTPR and hence felt like replying to your comment)
While I hope you do go back and watch it, now that you know what to expect - but even if you don't I hope you come across other great dramas this year as 2025 has just begun!

It has been quite sometime, since I have pulled an all-nighter to binge a drama. Probably cause many new dramas are released over weeks or are multi-season. This drama has made my 2025 start with a bang, drama-wise! Short crisp medical drama with good dose of comedy, action and emotions - Not a single dull moment! I love shows that have a different story per episode, while also having a single common story throughout. All the cast and crew are great and have good arcs - but the main three roles: Baek Kang Hyeok, Yang Jae Won and Cheon Jang Mi shine the brightest. Was already in love with Ju Ji Hoon since his Goong days, and now I have got to see Choo Young Woo for the first time, and loved his acting. (Probably going to start with his other recent dramas soon! Definitely an actor to watch out for)
While I cannot get enough of them I'll not want Season 2 - cause I feel this in itself was complete and flawless. Though if it is made as well as this one, I am not going to complain and binge it too.
Lastly - if you have not started this drama, PLEASE DO! This is 10/10 in every aspect (more details in my review soon) ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Same, I loved his character in the drama and ofc cried in the end) and have been wishing since then for him to get a main lead role. 365 did satiate that want and he was amazing, but seeing him in a romance drama lead role just hits different. This has been a long wait - but much deserved journey for him - and am so happy!
"Trending" actor Lee Joon Hyuk - well high time! He has been trending in my mind since the first time I saw him in City Hunter, and drama life had never been the same. Stranger, 365 Days, Designated Survivor just cemented that position.

(2) Light Shop: Remember towards the end we see the ghost lady with the inverted nails sewing up her boyfriend every time he was passing out? One time she is doing the sewing in the theater and there is a couple that is watching the movie? The girl tells her boyfriend that she is hearing something - and then the couple kind of leave in a rush, a bit scared? HE was the boyfriend. It was EP 6.

True - but I guess with time, I have grown a little impatient. Like when season take years to release, and there is always a sword hanging over it that it can get cancelled . . . no matter how good the show is it takes away excitement to some extent at least for me.
Ex: Manifest, FROM series were/are really good shows across all factors for me, but because they made it too long and wait time was too much that the overall experience became less enjoyable. Had it been a show with seasons in quick session, would be more enjoyable.

Park Chang Hoon is so good as Ji Chang! Ep 39 - his drunk scene was really good bringing the emotions out quite well. It was quite moving - can't wait to see how his role proceeds.
I have seen him in other recent dramas - When the Phone Rings and Light Shop where he had minor roles, but am really hoping he gets bigger roles - because he is really talented - and cute!
It was going so well - and then that finale episodes last 5 minutes or so brought it down so terribly. Like what was that? Honestly - this would have been a solid 7-7.5 but with that ending, am just confused - like did the makers of the show think or rather not think!!
Ep 1 - 12 (barring last 5 minutes) - worth a watch, solid 7. Ep 12 (the last 5 minutes and that useless ending) - one of the worst endings till date, -100.
Overall: 5/10 | Not recommended, cause of this ending cause it makes the initial episodes a waste. Watch the movie instead. Else just watch the show and pretend that the ending 5 minutes did not happen.

Jang Theo reminds me of Seo In Guk, especially some of his antics like Seo In Guk's role in Shopping Louie (like in Ep 4 - when he asked for more rice - cute puppy)
OOOOOMMMMMMMGGGGGGG - YAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSS!!!! My favorite two dark-horses-turned-megastarts are paired up together as leads 😍 😍 😍 This would be great in acting, and the synopsis sounds interesting. . . can't wait for these two reunited actores to recreate magic on-screen 😍
