this had been on my watchlist for too long, finally picked this up in 2025. Still on Ep 8, though had understood way before what a manipulative B* the wife was. I hope Seo Do Gyun also realises it or is betrayed/killed by her in the end.

While this is in a fictional world - unfortunately there are such manipulative people in real life too, which is possibly making me more furious about Kang Hyun Chae + her great acting!

I love Jin Ki joo - feel she is a very underrated actress (still) and yes, who can resist the handsome Seo Kang Joon (I have not seen many projects of his and while he is not the greatest but still good actor).

Plot sounds funny while reading the synopsis but then I'll believe in drama-logic and the cast and crew to make it happen.

I really hope so - but does not seem like, he geniunely seems to be into her still. She too, though I feel she can change given we have seen her be on the side where money is. Or maybe she will change and be with Ji Seok too.

Either - he will die/sacrifice himself for the greater good or something.
OR they will end up together - like Se Young will be banished from the Yoo household after the whole truth comes out and she will leave for US and ofc ji Seok will follow.

Honestly I'll prefer - if Se Seong leaves alone and starts a new honest life somewhere else, and Ji Seok remains with his family and also finds someone new.

But given the way the dramas usually go it looks like they'll end up together, Jin Goo and Ha Na are definitely not people who will hold grudges and rather wish them happiness. Meh but yeah

It will all conviniently come out at the time of succession or will being made :P
Either Myeong Ji/Se Young or even Ji Seok and Richard Han can reveal it at any point.

Basically at every point Ha Na will have more enemies than allies.

I am interested to see how her romance with ML bloom. Like how will they break off his engagement with Se Young and so on? Or will he just keep supporting Ha Na while being engaged with Se Young and ultimately when the final confrontation will happen and Se Young leave for US (and of course Ji Seok will follow) and Ha Na and Jin Goo will be together?

The questions and the anticipation is just too much!

Okay - I get it that Ji Seok and Se Yeong have a lot of old feelings - but I really don't want them to get back together. Like why can't they move on and find new partners. Given that Se Young is the antagonist here, I'll personally feel weird if she is given a redemption arc given the damage she has caused to so many people around her, knowingly + under her mom's influence.

Love the trailer! Ju Ji Hoon and Choo Young Woo's characters feel like it would a good bromance + mentor/mentee + butting heads kind! Plus I spot two of my favorite talented ahjussis in support role: Kim Won Hae and Kim Eui Sung ❤️‍🔥Can't Wait!

The only thing am skeptical about is the 8 episode & this being a Netflix production. I really hope they finish the story in one season only. I gravitated towards K-dramas because they are one season and short format. Honestly cannot take in more long periods of waiting and multi-season anymore (looking at you Squid Games) 😑

I have seen him first in Black Out and now watching him in The Frog. The first one - he played the roles of twins and in both had a maniacal/weak/vulnerable mix of portrayal which I found amazing and a testament of his talent. He also carried a bit of that nerdy-handsome look in both the shows which I love - regardless if men are fictional or real 🙈😻

Really want to see more of him in dramas - main roles, now - for his acting and the looks 😉😍

Not flawless, but am liking the show so far. Especially it has kept me guessing how it will end given the detour it has taken from the parent movie.
